while it may not be a 'true bum', they sure were dog-like efforts.

I remember my old trainer one day getting all over a guy that called a fighter a bum
He said " I heard what you called that fighter tell me could you beat him"? The guy says " No of course not" Trainer say " What gives you the right to call him a bum"? " Shall I go over & tell him what you said"?? Guy was scared he says " No please don't". Trainer says " Don't let me hear any of you here call any fighter a bum unless you are sure you can kick his ass OK" Great guy old Charlie

Without a doubt the strangest bunch of posters on any site (me included). Most other sites are run by politically correct asswipes such as at The Sweet Science and BLH. That's why I keep coming back to Saddo.

What about boxers who become literal bums, like Ernie Lopez, Rocky Lockridge, or Iran Barkley?

I never called Muhammad Ali 'a bum'.

But he did pull some 'fraudulent acts' in the Ring, that were 'bum like'.
