Anyone know where Eric is at the moment? Haven't seem him mention where he is?
He's a British fighter so by default I support him, I can't not. There are exceptions to this rule but generally I always back the Brit.
He's got a black cloud hanging over him, he brought it on himself. He did the right thing in taking himself out of the spotlight (if that's even possible these days) but there's only so long he can turn over Euro plodders before he has to test himself, that time is now I'd imagine, he's mentioned himself that he's ready.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
He needs to keep them hands up and glue them to his chin with a pillow
Job Biscuit (that's it)!!!!
eh eh!!!
It's nice to see you to see you nice
I support Price and he does need to get his confidence back by being active and taking on limited fighters.
Do not put him in with Joshua.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Still haven't seen the Price fight and I nearly ran his fan club. Yes Eric is a British fighter, ( though technically as a Viking he probably turned up on a longboat) and I support him but he is currently inactive. The fact that a ginger guy can sit out in the sun at least confirms he is not a daywalker.
No idea where he has gone for his holiday though.
People are being WAAAAY too harsh on Price. Tony Thompson has never been a pushover, especially if you're trying to knock him out. I can't believe that just because Wlad demolished Thompson in his rematch that all of a sudden everyone that loses to Thompson is immediately written off as a legitimate contender....Price isn't alone, it's happened to Odlanier Solis as well (and may very well happen again when they rematch soon). Solis has at least shown he isn't as serious of a fighter as Price by his weight being so high, but Price went for the kill and he got caught in return.
I think Price will settle a bit, he's 31 which is just about the age a heavyweight should be finding his true level. Given his size and fighting style Price could very well fight for 10 more years, but he needs to be very dedicated to technical hit and don't get hit boxing. He also needs to understand that he won't KO everyone. He can do this with the right trainer there's plenty of time left for him to do so. I think Price needs to fight Chisora and that could lead to a much bigger fight, but the guy needs rounds, he needs confidence and everything else will fall into place for him. He shouldn't be looking at winning titles just yet, he should be lining up a shot against Tyson Fury which would be big money OR he can look at the winner of Solis-Thompson II to try and avenge his 2 losses.
I think he can do better, it's up to him to make it happen though....remember Wlad was being told by his own brother to retire after the Brewster loss and 10 years later he's still champion so it can turn around for Price and I hope it does.
Price is a nice guy.
I hope he gets a shot.
No, not being a Brit, I don't see him through those rose colored glasses.
Thompson is not a bum, but he is over the hill and a gatekeeper.
I respect everyone who gets in the ring, but I don't think Price will get anywhere near the top.
