If I'm Froch I'm all over this. If I were him I'd forget about the Vegas dream for this one and get it in England. Ward does not really have a leg to stand on when it comes to venue and if Carl could even this up, he'd most likely get anybody he wanted in Vegas to close the show.

I'm guessing Ward has pushed his Emeritus status which guarantees him a shot at the Regular title.

If it was any other pair I'd say yes, but with these two, who knows?

Froch should take it for his legacy and there is no better time to fight Ward. No excuses. Take him to Nottingham and do him over.

Froch has already said No and freely admits he can't beat Ward.

No chance of this happening. Froch will never take it, even if the money was good. And if he does, even though Ward has been inactive, it'll be a carbon copy of the first fight and Froch knows it.

I know froch is in his twilight stage and wants a big Vegas occasion but Beating ward would secure his legacy completely.

Froch will travel no problem, but he seems intent on one last big payday & fighting Ward isn't going to bring the £££s in.

Its a quick way for ward to skip the line after the inactivity, but I don't think Froch will oblige. If froch was in the middle of his career, I think he would.

If he only has a last hurrah left in him, I can't blame him for not wanting to be hugged, slow danced and hit on the break for a whole fight. He wants to go out swinging big, mixing it up in a fight where he can use his strengths and putting an exclamation mark on his career.

He definitely won't fight Ward and I don't think the Chavez fight will happen either. But I don't think Froch retires.

100% if he ever has a chance to beat him its now. I dont rate Froch but a win over Ward would certainly put him up there with Calzaghe as one of the great English fighters.

I think Froch is about two steps from retirement, and he's thinking, "Piss on everything except what my honey and I want, and what we want is Vegas."
