Save that for the drive home, good or bad.

But the audience, sometimes even complete strangers, weren't quite as polite... I've been on shows were the audiences blood is up more than the fighters!

Sometimes coaches aren't much better. Saw a lad lose a close fight down to L.S.D. and his coach spent 20 minutes swearing his head off afterwards i the changing room with loads of junior boxers... Mind, this is the same coach who took a razor blade to one of his junior's eyes to get rid of a lump so he didn't get stopped. Had 10 year olds hammering diuretics ffs.
    Wow!

He's watched too many rocky films!

Its like a Burt Sugar syndrome. Where they have either never competed or they were just not good enough to compete but their ego just cant leave at at that in the sport so the next best thing is to try and produce fighters. With a few of the right spoken cliches and some cheerleading and some magical moments on the pads you have some brainwashed disciples hanging off your every word. Praise them up on facebook for their mates to see and they cant live without you.

Also, from what iv learned if you ask a trainer what is a judge looking for and they cant answer you with what a judge would tell you, then get the fuck out of that gym because they cant teach you haw to win and they will never listen to a judge to even help you win. They will not be told. It should really be mandatory with the coaches course. Its absolutely bonkers it isn't. Why isnt it? Why aren't the ABA trying to teach the coaches what the ABA want the refs to base their scoring on?
