Default Judah denies that he decked Floyd in Sparring recently!

There's a "story" doing the rounds that Judah dropped Floyd with a body shot recently but has since denied it via twitter (as if he'd be allowed to confirm it anyway)

Anyone reckon there's any truth in the story?

I read that Floyd was beating him up in training and they decided to preserve Judah who also has a fight coming up soon as his eye was getting messed up. I doubt Judah has all that much left TBH, certainly not enough to put a hurting on Floyd.

Judah never had the concentration for any fight past 10 rounds... but what he does have is good pop within the first 5 rounds... I think he decked Floyd.

Judah is a poster child of a good fighter who had it all to be great but his mind never let him get over the hurdle to be greatness.

There's way too many plausible scenarios to really think one thing or the other.

    a) It never happened and it's just a wild rumour made up by some idiot. I know that Floyd is very private about his sparring sessions (no cameras, ect) so I have to wonder how many people were around to see it that would be willing to leak that information.

    b) It never happened and it's a rumour fabricated by Floyd's camp to fuck with Manny, or maybe plant an idea in their heads to go for the body more and walk into some kind of tactical trap Floyd has laid out for him.

    c) It sorta happened, maybe Floyd was off balance and slipped or some other innocuous thing, and somebody blew it out of proportion.

    d) It did happen and Judah is being a good soldier/friend and covering for Floyd.

All options are equally plausible so it's hard to lean one way or the other.

    I highly doubt it.
In his prime, with 8oz. gloves, all he managed to do was land maybe 3 good punches. So an old Judah, who can't get his punches off anymore, coupled with 16oz. sparring gloves dropped Floyd? Not a chance.

of course you do, you'd probably believe it if they told you that Pacquiao put a hurting on Golovkin also

Could be true, could be false, but the point is #1 it gets people talking about the fight #2 it gets people second guessing how they think the fight will go.

Guerrero, Ortiz, Judah, even Cotto for a while fought Floyd as southpaws. Was Floyd great against them, did he have trouble with them, and does Manny offer anything different than those guys? I personally think Floyd was solid against those lefties, although he has gotten caught clean a few times recently (probably worst time was when Shane connected early) and you've seen him hang on and sort himself out. Manny is a pressure fighter with big pop...I think Floyd certainly has the skills to destroy Manny, but at the same time Manny has the punching power and constant pressure to trouble Floyd. For Manny to win, he has to avoid Floyd's sharp counters and flurries. For Floyd to win, he's got to avoid the big bomb.

I just want a fight as epic as the build up to it....which won't happen

I don't see how it matters one way or the other. Believe whatever you want!
Nothing matters until Floyd and Manny get in the ring together.

It's like believing the virgin birth, if it's plagiarism why believe it is true in this instance? This same story circulated before the Alvarez fight.

Roach is also claiming that Floyd has been completely bashed about by a Mexican sparring partner on two consecutive days.

^does this sound even remotely true?

We have to accept that team Pac is FOS and the fan base follows their lead. Heredia is not working with Floyd, everyone including Heredia has said so but the Pac trolls continue to say he is working with him. There are countless "sign the contract" stories going around. One side just follows liars so they lie. 37 more days of nonsense and then we will hear excuses instead of lies. Part of me hopes Floyd loses just so the BS will stop

This is really a matter of Mayweather's cat. How will our beliefs, and knowledge of the truth affect the truth?!?
