    Default What happens next?

I don't want to glorify Floyd's win as part of me wanted some more action from him but he just seems to only do enough just to get the job done.

    Questions:-

    1. Floyds next opponent?

    2. Mannys next opponent?

I think Floyd should retire. He has looked so disinterested 3 fights in a row. I really believe him when he says he no longer loves the sport. If he is going to fight on the only person near his weight that makes him fight is Golovkin. If you're going to fight you might as well take the biggest challenge.

I'd like to see Pac against so many people. Brook, Khan, Broner, Matthysse, Thurman(wow), Maidana would make one hell of an exciting fight, I'd even accept Crawford but would prefer he had more time to grow.

Really no question in my mind that PBF fights at a minimum two more times to attempt to reach 50-0. Assuming he wins his next, I could see Khan as his next fight and then maybe Trout or any of the top five Jr WWs moving up for the money fight.

I agree on the 50-0 part.

Khan can't make this year so perhaps may 2016 if floyd is still bothered?!

I think they should both retire. This was the last fight that mattered. I'm glad it is over and we now have a winner. No more speculation and opinions. Floyd has not proven he can do it to Pacquiao too. Nobody else out there to prove it to.

Pacquiao has had a glories career. Coming from the war torn mountain of Southern Philippines to the mountains of Greatest fighters ever. Pacquiao has nothing left to prove as well.

The talks about where they will be in the Greatest of times should begin tomorrow or after Floyds last contractual fight with CBS.

They don't mean jack shit just extra fees to fight for or keep. With or without the belts Floyd stays as lineal champ.

    Stop it.

Mayweather beats GGG easy. GGG still has to prove himself. Put GGG in there with Cotto, Sergio Martinez, Canelo, see how he get's on.

The fighters I see causing Mayweather problems are the likes of Erislandy Lara, Demitruis Andrade, and Thurman would be interesting

I agree about GGG but the hope of him landing would win peoples interest. I disagree about Thurman, if you think GGG has more to prove but not Thurman

Lengthy Lara would be risky and that fight will not happen.

Cotto next maybe for the middleweight belt then after that he's really struggling for a name unless two good fighters face each other and floyd takes the winner

Lara and Andrade aren't problems because he won't be fighting them. They are both out there begging for fights from normal fighters. No reason for Floyd to take such headaches. And Thurman I used to be high on his potential but he seems to have stopped progressing in my opinion. He has the athleticism, he has the ring IQ but he seems to make more and more mistakes the last 2.

If we were to argue GGG needs to step up to champions and prove himself I'll be right there with you. But I've said for years now by the eyeball test he is the best MW(only speaking of true MW) in the world. I could be wrong but at this point I have to see someone beat GGG at MW to believe someone can. (Not speaking in all time terms but of who's there I see nobody that's truly a MW and talented) I realize Floyd shouldn't be asked to fight well beyond what his body is capable of carrying well. But if he wants to go out with a great challenge to my eye there is no greater challenge.

Floyd in my opinion should fight either Cotto for the middleweight title which to me was the most entertaining of all of Floyd's fights or Danny Garcia for the 140 pound titles. Pacman has more options and could fight Broner or Maidana for entertainment value.

At this stage only a fight with GGG would beat this one in terms of hype and it would be undoubtedly the biggest risk Floyd could take at the moment.

One of the Brit commentators said something like "defusing a bomb". This wasn't the case at all but with such a dangerous one as GGG I think I'd believe the hype next time round.

Still think he could beat him too but getting caught like he was a couple of times by Manny would give me that knock-down or two I was expecting yesterday.

Broner I'd like to see in there with Pacman. And there's Matthysse too, anyone good in the 140 weight class.
