That article is a bit homophobic.
It was a crime to be gay back then. The age of consent for homosexual's wasn't reduced to 16 until the 2000's in the UK.

It happens regular though with older men and teenage girls (legal).
Was watching a food show on channel 4 the other month with Gary Lineker's brother (40+) whose bird was 17. Personally thought it was a bit weird but it's clearly not considered nonse stuff

The article says the young boys were brought over from children's homes so I'd have thought they'd have been a lot younger than 16, I mean fuck me if Saville was there they must have been hahah😆
