Tomoki Kameda Tabs Rematch Clause For McDonnell - Boxing News

Tomoki had a rematch clause in the contract so it looks like it'll happen. Jamie thinks he'll stop him this time but Jamie isn't a huge puncher so I don't see that happening. Going over for a PBC event will likely mean Haymon will pay the judges this time and Kameda will be allowed to come in as a Welterweight.

but he was just over for a PBC event and the fight was scored very fairly :S

I think it's a good rematch Mcdonnel was down early on then came back to get the win, kameda seems to be highly rated so it will be interesting to see if he can learn from his defeat.

    In Texas too.

I'm going with McDonnell though. Getting off the floor to win in Texas is no small feat. He'll be full of confidence he can do it again.

McDonnell said he was more than happy to do this because of the payday. Win or lose there are fights for him in Britain when he steps up in weight

When I heard about Jamie's victory I was amazed and it was a shame they did not show it live on sky sports as they were interested in Joshua which shows you their priorities in boxing. He did it once he can do it again.
