In America you supposedly have the right to say what you want. Dana White is a moron for trying to dictate what a winning fighter can and cannot say. A fighter criticizes gay marriage and is then told not to by a man with a girls name? The irony. Do I agree with the fighter? No, I don't, but he has the right to say what he likes. You can disagree with things you don't like. Dana White is a PC muppet.
It's not their time though. It's the same as if a McDonald's employee decided to lecture every customer about the virtues of finding Christ, or a car salesman tried to convert people to Islam when they came in looking for a vehicle, ect ect.
The UFC owns the cameras and the TV/PPV time, it's not your time to get on your soap box and preach your religious beliefs. Nobody wants to hear that shit. Do it on YOUR time. Make a video and put it on Youtube, post your beliefs on social media, talk about it in interviews with the press if you want. Don't do it on the company's time.

Ufc ppv have been down. They probably need a little controversy. I don't think banning this type of speech is appropriate but athletes should have the responsibility to use it properly. Express your beliefs no need to attack others.
Dana White always has been and always will be a dickhead
They should not ban it. In combat activities you develope a close relationship with pain, giving and taking, and there is a test of self every day. If the way you shore yourself up to meet and overcome these challenges is a belief in God, Jesus, whatever you should be able to acknowledge it. Especially just after winning a fight, when you are exultant emotional and relieved that nobody got hurt.
He's not banning people from thanking god or acknowledging the importance of god in their lives, he's banning the preaching of your religious beliefs to the crowd, telling people that they must also find Jesus or whatever imaginary man you believe it.
You can say "I wanna thank god for this win, without him nothing would be possible" ect. Dana just doesn't want guys preaching a sermon to the crowd, "you have to find god, blah blah blah".
It's not an unreasonable request.
