Close fight, MD written all over it. Worth putting a bit of money on a draw, but MD IMO.
    Judges will go with AA.

    Excellent fight.

Tough to get a decision against AA unless you wipe the floor with him like Froch/Ward did, but Murray doesn't have their punch/strength (and talent of course in Ward's case).

I would've said Murray a while ago, now I'm not so sure. Murray's a good fighter, but he fights great against top guys then has a string of meaningless fights and doesn't look up for it.
I don't know if he can keep producing at the top level at a higher weight than he's used to with all that in mind.
I'd say whoever the home fighter is wins in this match up.

Martin should be able to scalp this guy but I keep getting flashbacks of Reid/Ottke. Murray is one of those guys that I'd want at my back if it looked like the numbers were down and it was 2 against 4. He's been staying pretty active since his brave effort against the eastern assassin and moving up in weight. On Oct 5th he will fighting his 3rd fight since. Be interesting to see if he develops a little more pop at 168. So far he's 2 for 2 in ko's. Torres is a tough cookie and only been stopped once by Lemieux so Martin could be in for a long night and its a 12 rounder.

Hate to be a cynic but you can almost predict a hack job because Murray will be all over Abraham. I think he will be just to busy for Abe and the ref will step in. I hope Hearn gets some dibs on officials if its in Germany.

Murray can pull this one off and win the title. He is much better than Smith and provided he puts on his top performance as he did against Sergio Martinez I think he can get the decision against Abrahams.

Pick em fight imo. I think if it goes to the cards Murray would deserve the nod(whether he gets it is another thing), but AA can still punch and the openings should be there for him if he decides to throw more than a few shots in the last 30 seconds of every round.

In Germany ( because I can't see Abraham coming over here ) then Abrahams wins a decision. Murray does not carry the power to hurt Abraham so a stoppage is out the question. I think it will resemble the Murray sturm fight but Abraham carries abit more power than sturm did so will have the advantage during the exchanges

I can see why Murray wants the fight but he's best off waiting to see what happens with groves & Hearn promotes another champ in degale. They could be big domestic fights if they build them properly but sending Murray to Germany and coming back with a loss sours those big domestic clashes

True enough for the most part but if Murray gets robbed I'm not sure it effects any fights on the domestic level. Murray is a prize fighter not a world beater and his ability to do right y that has been blocked because of visa problems. Also how many fights has the guy had canceled? 3, 4?

The guy has finally signed with that African promoter for a three fight 7 figure deal and the Kazak was the first. He's got to be on a high knowing the bills are all looked after etc etc

As to the fight Martin should do his ring walk with a Smurf hat on. His opponent is by far the worst champion in the division and quite possibly in all of boxing. He's about a 6 minute fighter that divides that time by 12. He attempts to steal rounds. Murray may not have the power of a pure puncher but so what? Abraham is a baby, who is easily outworked and Murray is just an all around better fighter.

Abraham does not punch as hard as he is given credit for and was ko'd by Stieglitz who carries about the same power as Murray. Lets not forget that Murray came close to beating Martinez and dropped him and that he also has more chin than a Chinese phone-book.I think he can take it out of the judges hands by clearly putting the rounds in the bank like Geale did to Sturm. Which reminds me that Martin already got shafted in Germany by the same man.

Germany tends to covet their champions no matter how fraudulent and paper weighted they are so that is always a concern. Abraham is like a 21st century Sven Ottke. Having Sturm getting robbed by Oscar and Abraham getting humiliated in the S6 does not help much.

Martin needs to make it clear in every round and save something for 11 and 12 when Abraham tries to do his magicians trick because if he wins 10 rounds but loses 11 and 12 they will score it a draw.

He needs to take care of Torres first. The guy can punch.

I agree I think Murray wins by late stoppage or UD , Abrahams is garbage and is on borrowed time.
He didn't hurt Smith that much so he wont budge Murray who has a solid chin.

This is confirmed - Martin Murray to take on world champion Arthur Abraham on November 21 in Germany | Boxing News | Sky Sports

    Same night as Crolla-Perez rematch.

Can see the the "robbery" cries already (even though it'll probably be close/could have gone either way)
