    Default NFL 2015 Thread

I'm kinda hoping this can be stickied... as there's a few of us who follow the NFL regularly and enjoy talking about it as the season unfolds.

Me thinks this is going to be a great season, and has gotten off to a great start. Wonderful Week 1 games and storylines. Like Tom Brady coming back with a vengeance after the Deflategate drama and between the Steelers with 4 TD passes and almost 300 yards passing. And total nailbiters between Philadelphia and Atlanta, as well as between the Giants and Cowboys. Then there was the debut matchup between Mariota and Winston, in which I thoroughly enjoyed watching Winston getting his ass handed to him.

There was lots more, and this week is shaping up to be just as good.

NFC east in a pickle 2-2 the best record? Didn't think Atlanta would be undefeated. Denver & the old QB looking good.

    How 'bout those 5-0 Packers!!!!!

    The Packers are unbelievably good.
It looks like it could very well be Green Bay - New England meeting in Super Bowl 50.

Five teams still undefeated after Week 6: Packers, Broncos, Bengals, Panthers, and Patriots.

Of those, I think New England and Green Bay by far have the most complete teams. They also have the two best QB's, as well. Feel kind of bad for Peyton Manning, who's not playing great and finally showing his age. I think this is definitely his last year. He's had a great career... no sense in prolonging the agony. I also think Denver loses pretty soon, also. It's hard to get on the Panthers' bandwagon. However, if they remain undefeated and beat the Packers in Week 9, they could run the table with the remaining schedule they've got.

Great season and lots of close (and OT) games this year!!

Damn.... feel sorry for the 49ers. Watching them tonight at home against the Seattle Seahawks, and they look like the worst team in football. Pretty far to fall for what's a very proud franchise. Getting shut out 17-0 at the half. Not blaming the entire thing on the QB... but Colin Kaepernick looks clueless out there.

And the Pack is doing this without their star receiver Jordy Nelson!!

The Patriots remain undefeated after another STELLAR performance by Tom Brady in defeating the tough and game Jets.

Wow! The Broncos are for real..... having beaten the Green Bay Packers in a battle of unbeatens. Gotta take my hat off to Peyton Manning.... still going strong at the ripe old age of 39, and after multiple neck surgeries. Incredible like they manhandled the Packers like they were a high school team. I was originally thinking Patriots-Packers in the Super Bowl, but may have to rethink that. It'll probably be Patriots-Broncos in the AFC championship game. Who knows... the Packers may still be the cream of the NFC.

Most packer fans weren't sure how this season would go just without Jordy Nelson.

Not the best D, but good.
I like to think packers could end 12-4 and in the NFC championship.

Kudos to old man Manning... As stated before the game old man is hanging tough.

The Packers' biggest challenge in the NFC would appear to be the Panthers, although they didn't look all that good last night in giving up that big lead against the Colts before pulling it off in OT. Other than that, I'd say either the Rams or the Seahawks would be the other worries.

    Seattle seems solid-again.

I'm just hoping the Pack will be on the other side come NFC championship time.

I'm watching old NFL games on YouTube, and it might just be me, but flags are thrown more often now.

They've gone a little overboard with some things like trying to protect the QB. I got nothing against fouls for malicious hits at the knees or after the play is done.... but geez... they're taking the fangs off the defenses with so many asinine rules.
