Classy as always Brockton......Heaven forbid the man care about his wife (that is suffering depression) and new baby daughter.
Worrying about them and caring about them are one thing lyle retiring from the sport of boxing and or pulling out of the Tyson Fury fight is quite another.
Mehhhh, that was the point. Now you can punch yourself for me.
Lyle the title of the thread clearly shows that this is a predictive thread. That comes from the noun prediction. No where did I say that he has already made such an announcement. I am saying that 17 days from now that he will make that announcement. That's the same thing as you speculating on your investment that by the third quarter of 2016 your energy stocks may appreciate by 3%.
Another Brock prediction that will be wrong, add it to the collection.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I think he may be right this time.
Hey, I feel for Wlad and his wife, I really do. But that doesn't change the fact that his pulling out of the original Fury fight date with a suspiciously-timed calf injury reeked of intimidation. Now he's got this problem, and all the ammunition in the world to postpone the fight yet again.... which could easily result in a fed up Fury saying f*ck it I'm not waiting around for this chump any longer... and in Wlad's post-career record it'll never show up that he ducked Fury in the most shameful way possible.
So much disrespect.....will you guys ever learn?
You think Wlad is feeling sorry for himself? You think he's lost his focus? I think he's going to come to fight and get rid of another loudmouth via KO.
Talking shit is one thing, talking shit to a guy whose having some family issues at the moment is quite another, Wlad has too much pride to go out the way you guys assume he will....in like a lion and out like a lamb? I don't think so....Wlad might not be a toe to toe brawler, but he IS a fighter, he IS a guy that has pride in what he's accomplished and to be this close to making history too.....yeah, you guys talk your trash to me AFTER the fight, save it for afterwards...unless of course you don't think Tyson Fury will win
You're a Wlad fan, Lyle. That is to be respected.
Me... I've seen too many Wlad-Sultans, Wlad-Hayes, and Wlad-Povetkins to be a fan of the man. Hey... if Wlad comes out guns blazing and knocks Fury the hell out... I'll be the first to give him his due. But that is IF (and that's a huge "if") Fury comes to fight and makes the fight competitive, presenting even a semblance of danger to Wlad. But..... (and I know Ross doesn't want to hear this)... if Fury comes out like yet another loudmouth opponent suddenly turned meek... I'll continue to berate the HW division and wish for Wlad's early retirement.
In reality, I don't care WHO wins, as long as both come to fight (not clinch, maul, and grapple)... and we get an action-packed, thrilling, competitive, memorable HW fight. In truth, I probably have better chances of winning the lottery, so I'm not holding my breath. But that's what I'd like.
Doesn't matter what happens in the fights in this case TitoFan, this is about Wlad delaying the fight due to injury and the possibility of Wlad retiring outright instead of fighting Fury.
Wlad isn't super human, he can get injured like anyone else. I've had injuries training before I am sure everyone has.
Now whether or not Wlad was really injured or if he postponed the fight due to his wife's postpartum depression is a topic that is certainly up for debate and that's fine, but to IMMEDIATELY say "Wlad is ducking Fury" and "Wlad is going to retire" which is exactly what Brockton and you have accused him of doing/planning to do....the man has fought anyone and everyone in the division at the highest level and been winning everything in sight for 11 years now....but an injury or his wife having to go into treatment for postpartum depression gets the "My Wife is suffering so much, I cannot focus on the fight properly, my family comes first, my calf comes 2nd, and third my career" and "his pulling out of the original Fury fight date with a suspiciously-timed calf injury reeked of intimidation" treatment
I think it's a giant leap to conclusions and it's a massive disrespect....yall are free to do so, but I think it's shitty
Yeah you don't like him, but damn to not look at the professional he has been and take that into consideration....but hey, I know you don't like him but that's a big lack of respect
