How? 😂😂
That is just a tad short sighted don't you think? Floyd is a dickhead but that has nothing to do with what took place.
Did Manny even win a round? Which one? Show me the footage and point it out? Ok maybe round 4.
This never die urban legend that Floyd is a runner and ran in this fight is what it is.
A crock.
Floyd has not stood in the pocket trying to destroy his opponent since Angel Manfredy. He does not fight that way. People confuse ring generalship with running all the time and because Floyd is a safety first fighter that fabrication is taken to another level.
They said they had a secret weapon for Floyd. What was it?
Perhaps it was the phantom shoulder injury while he flailed away with both hands hitting air for 36 minutes using full arm extension never mentioning an injury in the corner.
They couldn't use "socks" because they already used that one but there had to be something wrong since he looked like Guerrero in there with Floyd. You see when you do the same thing over and over and over again with the same attack formation against the best counter puncher in the world with the best feet you are bound to be embarrassed by this man and he was. And when your political career rests on such a fight you need to have some excuse at the ready.
I wanted Manny to win hands down. But no amount of wishing can take away the extreme disappointment with what Manny brought (or failed to bring) to the fight. You take sides... you live with (and own up to) the consequences. Wanting Floyd to stand there and trade... for what? It was up to Manny to make good on his promises. Floyd fought the way he always fights. Manny barely touched him.... just like Canelo NEVER touched him. Force Floyd to engage..... and he will.... if only for survival and winning the fight. Which is why the Cotto and Maidana fights stand alone in Floyd's recent history as fan-friendly, action fights.
It's getting close to a year since this fight happened.
I can't believe you're all still discussing it.
