Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I agree disrespectful to say ten grand not enough but at the same time I think it will be remembered more by the audience - eg remember the time he did a 146 instead to let the pot build up. I also liked it the time he left the black on its spot as there was no prize money for a maximum (referee talked him into potting it)
Genius defo
But this constant moaning about boredom and "I may quit" is pathetic - how many years has he been saying it. And that's cuntish
A big fan its hayday I only watch snooker now when he is playing and the only person that can beat him at present is himself.
I know the game is 'healthy' because of its following in the far east but its not the same is it.
We need another bad boy to come along who can play - another Higgins, White, O'Sullivan. Can't see it happening. Or another Davis to come along who's unbeatable and dull so we tune in to hopefully see him lose.
Amazing really how a lot consider Ronnie an underachiever in the sport - won loads but should have won so much more.
Has everyone watched the Rack Pack yet on BBC iplayer about the Higgins v Davis rivalry ?
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
I watched the BBC iplayer film, thought it was hilarious, especially the Barry Hearn character. Bloody impressive how they accurately recreated Higgins great snooker breaks/style.
Ronnie was wearing a hair pin the other day to stop his hair falling in his eyes. He's a genius but even he needs to see the balls.

yes the Barry Hearn character was very good - had me chuckling a few times especially when he was dancing in the recording booth to Snooker Loopy.
Some great casting in that film - the Jimmy White guy was basically Jimmy !
It's amazing that Higgins won the tournaments he did given his match play temperament - or lack of it.
Kamikaze snooker !

They should do a part 2 with Stephen Hendry.

Ding Junhui hits 147 at Welsh Open but loses to Neil Robertson great irony.
China's Ding Junhui made a maximum 147 break in the quarter-final of the Welsh Open in Cardiff but could not beat Australian Neil Robertson.
Ding trailed 4-1 in the best-of-nine-frames match when he made his clearance, but world number three Robertson recovered to win 5-2.
"The reds were looking good so I went for it," Ding told BBC Radio 5 live.
"It's just a 147, a new record for me. I like to beat the records every time I play in the tournaments."
Robertson, who made a 140 break in the third frame, praised his opponent saying: "What a wonderful break.
"He was clearly determined because he went for a risky shot in the forties."
Ronnie O'Sullivan turned down the chance to make a 147 break in the first round because the £10,000 prize money was "too cheap", making 146 after choosing the pink over a black.
The £10,000, which is boosted by £2,000 on offer for the highest break of the tournament, is a rolling prize fund at ranking events.
O'Sullivan thrashed world number one Mark Selby 5-1 in his quarter-final on Friday, and insisted he had been trying for a 147 when an opportunity arose.
"I thought 'he's let the lads down, hasn't he?' O'Sullivan joked when asked about Ding's maximum.
"Ding got it. Fantastic, at least they've had a 147 this week - and a 146. But I was going for it, 100%. There's obviously pressure and I twitched on the black."
Despite making headlines for his decision to ignore a possible 147 earlier in the week, O'Sullivan added: "I think I've done brilliant for this tournament.
"Most people are saying they didn't actually know this event was on. I've created such good headlines - if you had to go and buy them headlines, it would probably cost you a few quid.
"They've had the best of both worlds. They've had a maximum from Ding, they've had the headlines from me this week, so I think I've given great value for money."
After losing only one frame against Selby, a relaxed O'Sullivan said he was in the mood to "go for everything" and entertain the crowd.
"That's exactly what I was thinking, it's good practice for the exhibitions," said the Englishman. "If you start to think of it like a match you can start to not enjoy it.
"It's not really that important. Although it's nice to win and you want to do well, don't get me wrong."
O'Sullivan goes on to face compatriot Joe Perry, who beat Ben Woollaston 5-1, while Robertson will play Northern Ireland's Mark Allen, who beat Michael White 5-0.

You write some good reports Master but did you know the BBC is plagiarising everything you write word for word. It's a fucking disgrace

Ronnie O'Sullivan to play Neil Robertson in Welsh Open final
Ronnie O'Sullivan beat Joe Perry 6-3 to reach the Welsh Open final where he will play Neil Robertson.
The two English players shared the first four frames before O'Sullivan hit a 124 clearance to edge ahead in the semi-final in Cardiff.
O'Sullivan, a three-time champion, then shot breaks of 94 and 88 to lead 5-2 before winning with a 78.
Australia's Robertson beat Northern Ireland's Mark Allen 6-4 to reach his second final, to be played on Sunday.
Robertson, the 2007 champion, had trailed 2-0 in the best-of-11 frame match, but won the crucial third frame after a foul by Allen, of Northern Ireland.
The world number three then won five consecutive frames to lead 5-2 and withstood a comeback by Allen to reach the final.
Speaking after the semi-final, O'Sullivan, 40, compared Robertson to cinematic cyborg law enforcer RoboCop.
"I have watched him through the UK Championships and he never showed emotion through the whole tournament, " O'Sullivan told BBC Sport, ahead of the best-of-17 final.
"It shows what an unbelievable professional he is. He is Robocop, he is like the new Steve Davis or Stephen Hendry."
Robertson, 34, believes O'Sullivan is the favourite for the title.
"I don't mind flying under the radar," he added. "It is nice, I can be the underdog."

I backed Robbo to win this comp from the start.
As he's now completely fucking bottled it just when it matters, the betting slip has been launched in the bin in the hope of some voodoo shit.

My view is simple Ronnie genius or cunt ? - rich is the answer so he has the right to be either of the above, and if you don't like it then don't watch him and he goes away.
Remember reality is an illusion caused by a lack of alcohol .
Ronnie has been flawless, what a genius cunt.9 - 3
