Jackson battered him for 5 rounds until Lee found a haymaker from the stars to knock out Jackson and scupper his plans.
Then after talking about how he was now a LMW, because of his connections with Lou di Bella and BJS and Korobov stalling, he got a shot at the title against Korobov. Korobov at the time had a great pedigree and was seen as the favourite against BJS And Andy Lee.
Korobov was battering Lee and lightning struck again! To be fair , he did finish the job off well, but as a boxer , he was getting outclassed.
So Lee is then Champ and again with his U.S. Connections, Quillin's team paid him good money thinking this was an easy route back to a title. What they didn't bargain for was that Quillin had no desire left and couldn't even manage to come in on weight.
So Lee had the luxury of knowing no matter what happened, he couldn't lose his title. And Quillin knew he couldn't become champ. So it ended up being a totally meaningless draw and we have since found out that Quillin is fuck all.
Hardly Sugar Ray Robinson is he?
Quality record, without your sarcastic comments, if you ask me. Beating 2 undefeated fighters and Quillin in his back yard is good form

Not so long ago, Britain had 4 World level contenders, Barker, Murray, Macklin and Lee. Lee was comfortably seen as worst or second worst out of that pile, now you're trying to tell me he's something special .
As for Quillin, how long ago was he relevant ? Didn't Jacobs KO him in round 1 ? Everybody knows he's finished except you. But you're just looking at his name. And yet you call AJ a hype job? Laughable mate.

Lee has achieved more than Barker, Murray, Macklin.

Lee has achieved more than Barker, Murray, Macklin.
    Barker
Has Lee achieved more than him? No.
Would Lee have beaten Barker ? No
    Murray
Has Lee achieved more than him? Well he won a World title and Murray never, but all Murray's title shots were against much better guys than Lee fought .
Would Lee have beaten Murray? No.
    Macklin
Has Lee achieved more than Macklin? Probably yes, but the same comments apply that did to Murray.
Would Lee have beaten Macklin? Probably not, 50/50 at best.
So we have to assume that Lee was a paper champion that basically sold his title to BJS, who until he proves differently is a paper champion also.

Lee achieved more the others let themselves down when they did not fight one another.
