The stupid thing is that Wlad was blatantly worried about getting tagged by a guy as big as Fury. But Fury doesn't hit heavy for his size.
Neither did Ali when he dropped Liston in the rematch.
Not sure what that comparison means because Ali and Fury are very different sized individuals. But many people believe the rematch was a fix and Liston took a dive. are you saying you think that's what happened in the Wlad v Fury fight? if it is, I feel that's a bit harsh and disrespectful to Fury on your behalf.
Come on Ross, I think you need to give Tyson Fury a bit of credit for a change!

What happened in the first fight happened like I said it would. I said it had many similarities to Clay v Liston and Fury did certainly box rings around a clueless Wlad who couldnt just over power him like he had other opponents.

Lennox Lewis has even stated publicly that Fury fights just like Ali

Most also expect the rematch to be Wlad getting stopped Whats he going to do different? Nothing. He will still miss, be left chasing shadows, get caught when he tries to open up. I honestly dont know why hes bothered with the rematch. Im bery surprised he hasnt gone for Wilder or Joshua instead.

One thing I do agree with is that it's a pretty pointless rematch. When you say you don't know why he bothered , do you mean Fury or Wlad? If you mean Wlad, I agree, if you mean Fury, he had no choice, it was in the Contract. But I would rather see Fury fight Wilder or Joshua as well, and Fury probably would as well if he could.

    Yes I meant Wlad.

Hed have done better chasing Joshua. Whether Hearn would have taken it is another matter.

Its ok for all the experts to say Wlad is wahsed up now but last year he was still seen as unbeatable and all the contenders were no where near ready. I think there would be serious reconsiderations? On wjether they really wanted their fighters to face him without him bringing a belt.

I would bet that all options were explored though for Wlad to face Wilder or Joshua.

Would we say "Fury couldn't get up for the fight" would we say "Fury was injured?" would we say "The ring was too padded" ....I just would like to know that WHEN Tyson Fury loses what to expect. I mean we're obviously NOT going to mention the steroids. But I just want to know, is it going to be because Hughie lost earlier in the night to Andy Ruiz Jr.? Is it going to be some worry Tyson had over something unrelated to boxing? Please let me know what is going to be the line of events after Tyson Fury is stopped?

Accept Wlad cant do anything as he is shot.

As stated already and repeatedly, Wlad has to up his volume of punches. As well as that he has to deal better with Furys mobility and relative youth.

Wlad also has to maintain the aggressor state of mind each round as Fury may try to discourage him at the beginning of rounds to keep him in his shell.

Could be shot but I really believe Wlad is going to give this rematch everything he has left.I still want fury to win but want Wlad to go out in style...he has been a boring heavyweight champion with WWE tactics but has a good jab, and outside the ring he is pure class and a gentleman.

I think so too. Not only was he up against a bigger opponent, but he couldn't really pull the trigger and looked like he didn't really want to be there. That isn't good when you are already one of the most economical fighters output wise. Fury is a bit mental, but physically he should be able to do the same again against an even older Wlad. Wlad needs a home run and he hasn't had confidence in his chin for well over a decade, so it is hard to see him taking the risks to get it. He isn't in his 20's anymore and would gas out trying to do it even then whence the boring fighter he became.

Wlad wasn't shot in the first fight, he was on his best run of wins

he just came up against someone he couldn't hold

Hard to imagine a guy being shot after being so dominate and taking so little damage over the last few years. Even when he lost his title. If we see a repeat it's just as likely boredom and being too content did him over time. I really wonder if he has shifting gears in him now.

He needs more variety. More right hand leads for example. He needs to try to continue to commit to getting that lead hand around the back of Tysons neck so that he can transition from close to mid-range quicker and safer. He needs to rough Tyson up a bit. Control Tysons head. He needs to feint the jab more (or sell the feint better). It's not a lot really. Just enough to unsettle Tyson in a few instances so that Wladimir has a better chance of landing some of those meaty right hands.
