    Default Adonis...

    What a great fight!

I never really took to Stevenson as it seemed he ducked Kovalev for so many years whilst Ward stepped up to the best.

For a 40 year old fighter he took on the best in the divison and won in my opinion.

He was tired, bleeding and losing the 2nd half of the fight but he turned it round with a wicked body shot.

There was no robbery..it was very close but AS worked the head and body and was hardly ever on the back foot.

The judges were considerate to call it a draw as you can’t take a champions belt on that performance...same with Ward against Kovalev in the first fight.

I thoroughly look forward to the rematch.

What is your view on how the rematch goes and what does each fighter need to do to make a clear win..?

    Is this trolling?

First of all I cant see how you can score that fight to Adonis. It was a good close competitive fight but a draw is the absolute best you could give him.

How is Jack the best in the division? Because he beat a well past his best Cleverly. Lots of good fighters in the division, he's top 5 at best for me.

Jack is nowhere near the best in the division. He is a solid fighter but there are many who are better. Stevenson has been ducking Kovalev for years. After last night, no way he could handle Kovalev. Kovalev would knock him out with ease.

    First 6 rounds it’s anyone’s fight.

I wanted Jack to win but he could have gave more on this occasion.

40 year old Adonis deserved to keep his title.

I don't like Stevenson either, but that was a gutsy performance. He was gassed after the 6th or 7th, but pressed on. A draw was just fine with me.
That being said, Kovalev murders him.

Same here. I though Jack started far too cautiously and gave away early rounds. Stevenson early, Jack middle, Stevenson late surge, Jack finished stronger. A draw is fair enough in a topsy turvy clash like that. Jack won his rounds bigger, but you score it round by round.

Same here I’m the first to scream robbery or home turf advantage, especially in fights outside the US. I was pulling for jack all the way, more for a dislike of Adonis but this is the first draw I haven’t whined about in as long as I can remember.

I picked Stevenson to win, and was worried when it looked like he was spent. That body shot in the 10th save him. I think a draw was fair.

I would love to see a rematch. Jack will hope to start earlier and be busier, but on the flip side Stevenson knows he has the power to make Jack cautious and can hurt him to the body. It's a curious fight. Makes you wish boxing was 15 rounds instead of this 12 round stuff.

I think Jack wins a rematch too. He won’t give away so many early rounds.

Remorseless Pimp is now done. Can you imagine what Joe Smith would do to him? Or Krussher? Or Beterbiev. OMG Time for pimp to smell the roses and just go away.

I do believe the draw was fair and ironically, it was pimp body shot that got him the draw.
