    That's the question, as many boxers have found out talent alone means Jack, i have seen him spar and he is quick and slick as anyone.

    It's hard to say if he makes it to the top, but i do think on any given night he could trouble anyone.

    Well he has had a reputation of not being the best trainer in the world and hasnt always been 100% focused.

    Yeah Barnes is a pretty decent fighter BUT with the wealth of Worldwide Welters and light Welters he'll probably struggle to really make an impact.
    He has'nt got what it takes to challenge for World honours IMO.
    Maybe a Euro title at best

    yeh he is def not world class material. a good domestic fighter. i doubt even if he could get up to european class. when he lost to Okine he just didnt seem to have the desire or the ability to grit his teeth and grind out a win. very similar to the judah-baldomir fight. barnes in control early but as soon as he gets hurt he folded and never really fought back.
