Well, to tell ya the truth, I dont do it by miles or anything, I just run between 25-30 minutes, and throw some sprinting in there too. Its that interval training some people told me to do on here. Jog, then sprint, jog, then sprint, over and over. It works well for me. I think it prepares me for lasting in the ring and being explosive, you know, getting in there and throwing those combinations and getting out.
Traing in London a few years ago, I told an overweight boxer to run six miles a day 3 weeks, at the end of it ring me.After 3 weeks he called me, and asked me to pick him up.I asked him where he was Birmingham.You cant beat the old ones

i was running for about 45 minutes each morning at 5am
i used to do 33 minutes 5 times a week on the treadmill, plus go on the bike and croos trainer
