Yes Yes Yes And Fucking Yes!!!!!

Posted 04-09-2008 at 05:49 PM by Bilbo
Well after spending around 4 hours trying almost a dozen programs it seems that I've finally found one which actually does what it's supposed to and restricts the time I spend on the internet!

I've now installed and set up Net Nanny 5 to lock me out of the internet for most of the day.

I only have net access from now on at 7am until 10 am and 6 pm until 8 pm, with another hour from 11pm.

This means that I have NO internet access all day and if I want to spend...

A life of wretched failure and disappointment

Posted 04-09-2008 at 07:57 AM by Bilbo
Well I'm into the second week of my fortnightly goals and I'm failing miserably to acomplish them.

My tidying of the entire flat ended up not happening and my sleeping pattern is completely fucked.

It's frustrating but I really think I need to unplug from the internet for a while. I wish I could find a way to pursaude myself to unplug my internet at say midnight and then get into bed and go to sleep. It would change my life in an instant.

I also need to cut...

New Hair

Posted 04-06-2008 at 10:14 PM by Bilbo
Just a quick pic of my own hair highlights as Dizaster has put his up.

The picture came out a bit blurry so I'll take a better one when I get time.

As my hair is lighter anyway the highlights arn't so noticable in this pic but you can get an idea.

Next plan is to work on putting some colour into my pallid looking face

Not strictly pua but some essential new goals and life laws

Now I've got my Snowdon mission set and a plan of personal fitness in motion I need to set some personal development goals.

I'm still incredibly anti social by nature and rarely if ever leave the house except through necessity. I need to change that. The walking will be good but that's not going to get me meeting people so I need to come up with some new small commitments and goals to move myself away from my chair.

I've come up with the following immediate/short term lifestyle...

Snowdon Countdown Week 1

Posted 03-30-2008 at 09:36 PM by Bilbo
Ok this is week 1 of my Snowdon countdown. The next couple weeks will just be a fairly gentle reintroduction to fitness.

I'm going to aim for three rows a week, nothing hard just steady 30 minute pieces, plus three cycles also of 30 minutes at a low intensity.

I just want to build an exercise tolerance again and prepare myself for more strenous times ahead.

I'm planning two whole body weight's workouts a week as well, again nothing too strenous but I'll progressively...

Mission Snowdon

Posted 03-30-2008 at 06:13 PM by Bilbo
I have decided to set myself the lofty goal of climbing (well walking) to the top of Mount Snowdown, the second highest mountain in Britain and the third lowest in the rest of Europe.

It's actually a fairly significant challenge for me though, firstly on account of my chronic lung damage, but mostly on account of my reluctance to actually leave the house.

In order to attempt this hike, I will of course need plenty of exercise, experience of outdoor walking and for the day...

Collapsed this morning.......

Had a bit of a rough day today. Got out of bed this morning and felt really shakey on my feet and dizzy.

I sat down again for a while but when I got up and went into the kitchen I fainted and woke up on the floor surrounded by broken plates.

Worse I couldn't get up for 20 minutes as all the strength had left my body.

I guess that must be how it feels to get knocked out

Lucikly my mum bless came around and looked after me whilst I slept....

Bilbo's PUA blog

Posted 03-13-2008 at 05:31 PM by Bilbo
Ok guys and girls, this is my new blog all about self improvement and the Venusian arts.

I'm going to detail my own progress here and hopefully will encourage a few of you to do the same.

Currently I want to work on my inner game and learn how to view the world in a way that supports my development.

To that end I have purchased Style's recommended book 'Mastering Your Hidden Self' an introduction to Huna, the Hawaiin mystical religion, which emphasises how...

The Essential Life Laws

Posted 03-02-2008 at 02:12 AM by Bilbo
Updated 03-02-2008 at 02:20 AM by Bilbo
Unlike the 'wisdom' of other great philosophers, scholars and religious teachers my laws are easy to live by. They require no effort and as such offer a far more realistic and pragmatic approach to living.

Living with the consequences wrought by consistent application of these laws is tough however, and it is here that your mental endurance will be tested.

The rules are simple, and few, but no less complete for that.

1) Never do today what you can put off until...
