Struggling

Yesterdays prediction came true. I do get some picks right, you know! But this one I would have preferred to have got wrong. My voice has deserted me, just a throaty rasp left. My tonsils are swollen up and my nose is horrible and congested. And my head feels as though it has been filled with a blanket of mist. All in all....strugglin'!!

I had high hopes of making some real progress on some of my course reading. Pedagogic grammar is never easy at the best of times and today I didnt make the distance by a long shot. Of a planned 75 pages to be covered I gave up after 30. I just couldnt focus my attention fully. Too lethargic and worn out. Its no great disaster but a day in which I havent accomplished what I had hoped....so Im a little disappointed with myself.

Im drinking lots of fluids and taking medicine so hopefully tomorrow will see an improvement. But this is otherwise one of those lost days.
