Well this is my question.... Will Prison Break return to being my favourite television show of all time?? I hope so... And I absolutely think it is possible.. Here is why...



Well actually, first let me say that Season 3 sucked... Not sucked in a "oh no, the cat has pissed on my leg" sort of way, but sucked compared to the first 2 seasons... Season 3 had a lot to live up to, and did not deliver in my opinion... One thing that really pissed me off is that the writers strike cut the season from 22 episodes to 13.. That's 9 episodes of freakin awesomness that we never got to see. But even so, the season was not as good plot/energy/emotion/excitement/suspense wise as the first 2 seasons...

But I have very high hopes for Season 4 when it returns, to be as good as the first Season..



With Season 1 and 2, Michael had a plan. He had plotted out every step of the escape. Things when wrong along the way. Hiccups sent things of course. Just when you thought his plan was coming into place, something would fuck up... As soon as you thought everything was fucked up, he'd come up with something else.... It was like a cat chasing a fake mouse on the end of the string.... It was close you could smell it, but if you reached for it it would go away... That's how you felt as a watcher for every every single episode... Apart from it just being fucken cool, the plot and pace was second to no other enertainment i've experienced in my 26 years on Earth....

But the second that Season 2 ended, along with Michael getting thrown into Sona, it went down hill... Michael no longer had "a plan". He was no longer one step ahead.. Things would just fuck up randomly, but they weren't messing up a plan.. They were simple chaos... Any television show can put chaos in front of you..
And this is how it felt as a viewer.. Messy.. Meanings that really didn't mean anything..

Season 1 and 2 had you by the balls !!
Season 3 just left them hanging there, occassionaly flicking them with an index finger..



But in the end, it was Prison Break, and I loved Season 3.. Only half as much as the first 2 seasons.. But still loved it... And am even more excited that there will be a Season 4... The show needs to wind up with a Season that really does the whole show justice!!!



Now, here is why I have I have very high hopes for Season 4.

Michael will be back to his best.. He is out for revenge. Out on his own. Free to use his brilliant brain against those who took his lover. Free to sceme and plot and trap and kill and whatever..

The "PLAN" is back!!! The plan will be ready to unfold !!



And once more I can happily place my balls, back in the tight grasp of the brilliant makers of Prison Break, WHERE THEY BELONG!!


Bring on Season 4 !!!!
