who is your favorite current or past fighter and why?
it always interests me to hear what makes a fighter somebodys favorite. wether its their style or just the way they conduct themselves in or out of the ring. itd be good to hear your views. i love asking fellow boxing fans this question. my past favourites are ali and tyson. ali for his ringcraft and speed, tyson also for his speed and pure aggression. current favourites, hopkins and pavlik. hopkins for his old school brilliance, pavlik for his toughness and raw power.

Antonio Margarito-I love the way he fights, I have said it before I see his style of boxing as an analogy of the way I would like to lead my own life. Tenacios, determined, undeterred. The guy takes bombs and doesnt stop coming, not only that he runs after you to take everything you can dish out. While this whole mess he is now truly is sad and I hope he comes out of it at least being able to continue boxing it will again prove his tenacity, he gets up brushes himself off and moves forward.
If TOny is innocent, he will before his career is over be a WW or SWW champion again.

i love watching margarito, to the point where i slowly became a fan and i was gutted for him last week. but yeah i think he will still become a true champ because the fact still remains that most welterweights probably wouldnt be able to cope with him IMO.

naseem hamed
loved how he fought, anything could happen at anytime.
and i thought his cockiness was awsome but i only liked it when he did it other fighters that have tried and be cocky just couldn't pull it off like my man naz.
Re: who is your favorite current or past fighter and why?
Past fighter has to be Sugar Ray Leonard he fought the best in the division, came back to beat hagler and had great skills on top of that. I would also put Bhop or Roy Jones but they are still fighting.
Current is kinda hard for me to decide. Its outta Paul Williams, Pavlik, or Cotto.
Re: who is your favorite current or past fighter and why?
watching naz destroy someone in devastating fashion on a saturday night was part of my later childhood. as soon as he had knocked yet another guy out i couldnt wait to watch him again. hopkins and jones jr are all time greats now IMO, look at their achievements.
Re: who is your favorite current or past fighter and why?
Barrera
In and out the ring there is nobody cooler than him. He punched Mckinney and Morales in the face pre fight just to show em whos boss. In the ring he hits guys when they are down, rugby tackles them and knees em between the legs. He hits em after the bell and on the break . He even rams their head against a ringpost whilst saying "whos ya daddy"
Because of this how can you not like Barrera. He should be everyones favourite . The man is a complete legend !!!!!

Are you hoping to meet Barrera in Manchester ?
Re: who is your favorite current or past fighter and why?
Bernard Hopkins.
can't be bothered explaining why.
Re: who is your favorite current or past fighter and why?
David Haye
I love his attitude in and out the ring. He's flashy, cocky and arrogant. He either knocks you out or gets knocked out. Exciting, has dazzling speed and awesome power, Never in a boring fight. One punch from Haye can change the outcome of the fight. Some of the things he comes out with are pure comedy.....just look at my sig.
Great outside the ring as well, friendly, chatty and will gladfully sign autographs...
I feel priviledged I've met my two favourite boxers. Hatton and Haye
Re: who is your favorite current or past fighter and why?
past fighter: koysta - i like fighters that are not loudmouth, carry themselves well and accepts the fact that with great skills comes great responsibility. He had a devestating power and was amazingly accurate.

Re: who is your favorite current or past fighter and why?
Nigel Benn!!!He was the man.Wow what a forward fighter he was.Their sure dont have many boxers like him anymore. He always fought the fight ever time he was fighting. For me he was just soo great and entertaining to watch. He used to take heavy shots but always came back and fought on with heart and desire.Benn was a true warrior through and through!;)
