Joseph Parker vows to release clip of Anthony Joshua getting ‘dropped repeatedly’

JOSEPH PARKER has promised to reveal shocking footage of Anthony Joshua getting knocked out in just two hours time.

The 25-year-old WBO heavyweight champion of the world will be holding a press conference later tonight in light of fresh negotiations with AJ's management team.

But as part of the press release from Parker's camp ahead of his appearance in front of the media, it made a stunning vow.

The statement read: "Following Tyson Fury's Twitter bet that Parker will knockout Joshua, 1' 10" video will be distributed to media present showing rare footage of Joshua getting dropped repeatedly by little known opponents."

Parker's promoter David Higgins is expected to provide an update on the latest attempts to secure a unification bout with the WBAand IBF champ Joshua.

Higgins had previously said he was putting the fight on the back burner after receiving an insulting offer from the British star's promoter Eddie Hearn.

That was for a planned showdown in the early part of next year.

He said: "I got this weird email from Eddie's email address, but he must have been hacked.

"He made the most ridiculously low offer.

"It could have been the most insulting offer in boxing history."

But now DUCO events will be holding the press conference in Auckland where they plan to unveil new information regarding a possible fight between the two heavyweight kings.

Both Parker and Higgins will be in attendance along with the boxer's trainer Kevin Barry.

It will take place at 11pm UK time.

Apparently it was grainy footage of him in the amatures that has been seen before.

Took them 8 minutes just to get the video to play, by all accounts Parker and his team have just massively embarrassed themselves.

BWAHAHAHAHA they have asked the people of the UK to prove that they have also dropped AJ, if they can prove it then Parker and his team will send them a gift in the mail.

I shit you not, they are being deadly serious as well.

They have also said that they will give £20,000 to any fan who can prove the Joseph Parker has ever been dropped

Call me old school but I think what happens in the gym stays in the gym, and it's bad form to talk about it and even worse to share video from it.

I'm sure even guys like Mayweather and Pacquiao have come in on bad days and gotten the better of, even knocked on their ass.

In the end what happens in sparring means nothing, all that matters is what happens in the official bouts.

It just smacks of sheer desperation, I understand trying to big up a fight but this is just terribly done

Parker is not a big puncher so even if he hit AJ he will not knock him out.

It doesn't matter, they have provided irrefutable evidence that AJ has got a glass jaw, they said themselves he has been dropped as an amateur, dropped in sparring, dropped as a professional.

No wonder he didn't go after Khan when he called him out for shagging his missus, it would have forever been known as 'The Battle of the Glass jaws' it'd go down in history.

This publicity stunt, if it can even be called that as Parker is largely unknown to most, is laughable and pathetically desperate.

Does anybody know what the lowball offer was? AJ is obviously far and away the bigger name so he should get the lions share especially since he is the legitimate champion.

Was is it with HWs? They all seem overly anxious and mentally ill. They put in more effort to get a fight than actually training for one.

The problem is that AJ is the money maker, no one wants to fight anyone else and risk the loss because that could jeopardize the money fight with AJ.
Parker claims that he is worth 40% (down to 35% now) but AJ was PPV against Takam, he will sell out against anyone at the moment, Parker struggled to sell his last fight and ended up on YouTube.

AJ's not at Mayweather levels but he's the closest person to it at the minute.

There is no problem, AJ and Hearn are being tight. If they want to make the fights they have to give more of their pie.
