Purse bids...why the odd numbers ???

Universum Box-Promotion won today's WBA purse bid in Panama for the middleweight title defense of world champion Felix Sturm against mandatory challenger Sebastian Sylvester. The bout will take take place November 1 at the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. Universum bid $2,815,756 to outdistance Sauerland Events' bid of $1,901,014.

Fightnews has learned that K2 Promotions has won the purse bid for the IBF heavyweight championship bout between title holder Wladimir Klitschko and #1 ranked Alexander Povetkin. K2’s bid of $13,130,130., outshone Sauerland’s of $8,114,140.

Why don't they do round numbers...?!? Am I the only one who finds this strange... ?!? :-\

Its a Auction, I forget when but there was a case when for $io more a major Fight was won. ;D

Theyre also tallying odd fees,like promotion,managment,and corner fees. It almost never comes to a round figure

Plus they are unopened Bids, but I bet a few get opened ;D

I suppose thats why certain promoters work with certain governing bodys, but off course that would never happen :o;D

No Prob to put it in perspective

The Promoter makes=Way more then needed or deserved(this is a golden rule)
The Matchmaker=Varies from guy to guy
The Manager=About 20%
The Corner/Trainer=About 7 percent,unless its Freddie Roach,in which case just co-sign the check and hand it over;D
If the fighter wants to make anything,youve got to tally up this garbled mess of math and alot for it
