2010 Lt's get this crappy year over with
Ok I think that 2010 can go down as one of the crappiest years in recent memory with few big time fights that fans want to see. Two Pac fights on no significance, Mayweather not sure what the hell he wants to do with his life, the aging dinosaurs Jones and Hopkins fighting each other 8 years too late (except for Hopkins who was the only one who still wanted the fight even though it was such a forgone conclusion he would win given Jones deterioration as a boxer that it didn't take Johnny Smith and his Dead Zone to see the outcome) and the Haye-Harrison debacle. YECCHH!!!! to 2010.
Ok lets hope the new year brings us some of the following to make up for it: Pac-Marquez III or Pac-Mayweather. Haye-Klitschko (either one I don't care). The retirement of Jones, Hopkins, Mosley, and anyone else 40 or so and above (not to diss Hopkins but his fights are ugly nowadays).

I agree that this year hasn't been great, but this weekends fight should be good.

It has been a really slow year for boxing. This month is a great one with some classic matchups, but one stellar month doesn't quite make up for the previous drought. I hope we get a lot more big fights nexy year and that they get spread out through the calendar.
