This is like a replay of Rigondeaux's debut.

Yeah, but he was getting no resistance in there whatsoever.
How old is Hide now?
Re: Herbie Hide on Eurosport now
Nice KO. I never knew how active he had been lately I think this is his 4th fight this year.

Really? That's a surprise to me. Well good on him, although if he keeps fighting guys like this, he could fight 10 more times this year easy.
Does Hide have poor management, I remember hearing his name a lot a few years back and then he just kinda fell off the radar. What's the back story?
Re: Herbie Hide on Eurosport now
Like killersheep says not against good fighters though.Wanna see him in with som1 in top 5 in world.

Wouldnt call it that bad, fighting crap fighters and he is on verge of a title shot.If he can get away with climbing rankings his manager will keep putting him in with punch bags till he get a title shot.

I'm pretty sure one of the commentators said he had already had 3 fights but BoxRec says different (this was his second of the year). He has been having 5 fights a year though since 2007

That's still more than I was aware of. Well another KO win for Hide good for him. I noticed the commentators talking about his bad habits, but against a guy like that why not try the superman punch? Nothing is coming back.

Yeah I had no idea he was staying so busy these days, I agree about trying to superman punch the guy he didn't have much at all.
Re: Herbie Hide on Eurosport now
I've seen most of his fights the past couple years. His opposition has been so so but he's looked impressive for the most part.
The Ruedigar May win was impressive, he had taken Marco Huck and that Polish guy Krystof WAasdkfglldfkdarl (fuck knows how to spell it!) 10 rounds and Herbie flattened him in 2.
He also beat that kid who was on the Contender that beat Rico Hoye. The one who said he was a Gorilla, tough little guy with a great chin although Troy Ross stopped him in the Contender final.
He took Hide the distance but in a way that's more impressive that Hide went 12 rounds and won against a pretty credible opponent. He didn't fade as people would usually expect of Herbie.
