Cake Thread in Boxing Talk
For some reason I can read but cannot reply to PM's, so I have to do it this way. I asked a question in the Boxing Talk forum about cake decorations and some people were jerks but some were helpful, which I thank them for sincerely. I'm not some weak willed cow who gets upset over ignorant remarks, those are easy to ignore! I had posted a similar question on another MMA forum but no one answered, which is why I checked on this forum as we have a friend who boxes and he suggested to try here.
I offered to bring the deserts for a pre-show luncheon where my husband is fighting, and I am looking for some ideas to go on for decorating cake, cupcakes or cookies. Any ideas? I know I can do a photo cake but as the deserts are for a bunch of fighters there might not be anyone left on the card if I choose one specific fighters picture. Has anyone seen any MMA themed cakes or deserts? Of course I could do an octagon shaped cake, cookies or cupcakes, but I was looking for something a bit more flashy. Please MMA guys, help me out here?
Thanks!

Sorry about the candy cron answer, I thought you was joking around................Sorry
Re: Cake Thread in Boxing Talk
no apology needed, my husband is British and the KING of sarcasm and joking, it ceases to rile me up anymore!
Re: Cake Thread in Boxing Talk
If he's British, maybe you should think twice about the cake...... it may make all their teeth even worse?
If he is American, the last thing he needs to be eating is cake, as he is probably morbidly obese already.
See = equal opportunity insults !!!
Anywho, I don't know much about MMA, but if it is anything like a boxing set-up, why not make the cake in the shape of the round bell (that starts or ends each round or session) You could even leave it on the side and see if anyone notices - might be a fun gimmick?
Good luck

LOL x, he has great teeth (thank heck!) and walks at 170/fights 155 ... I have no complaints http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ilies/love.gif
Thanks for the idea about the bell, I'll ask him about it.
