Some good fights already in the pipeline for 08
Can it be better than the amazing 07 we have had?
Pacman-jmm(negotiations have started)
Winner of Soto-Guzman v winner of Pacman-JMM
J Diaz-Diaz/Casamayor
P Williams- Kermit Cintron unification at 147.
Winner of Cotto Mosley v winner of Hatton-Floyd?(plus possibly Oscar v Hatton)
Margarito-loser of Cotto/Mosley or winner of PW/Kermit
Oleg-Peter
Rafael Marquez v Isreal Vazquez 3 in Mexico Cito on March 1 2008
Ulises Solis v Ivan Calderon/Hugo Cazares
Winner of Pavlik v JT 2(which will be on Feb 26th I think) against winner of JC-Pavlik(B Hop could be in the mix too.
Muhammed Rachman v Florente Condes 2.
Some awesome fights there already!?!?!?! Can it possibly be better than 07,which was AMAZING IMO.

All that looks good, but nothin stands out as eye popping. I'm a little confused though, I thought that Pavlik was gonna fight Duddy first?

What??????
Pac-JMM II.... Vasquez-Marquez III.... if that list has nothing "eye popping," then what fights would you consider eye popping?

Expect vasquez to win the trilogy.
Re: Some good fights already in the pipeline for 08
Taylor wants the rematch so Duddy is out.
I do not think Pavlik will go to 168 yet. He has said it many times already so I don't see him fighting winner of JC/kessler.
Hey Gamo, you forgot Tito - Jones... That's gotta be the biggest fight of the bunch right... :Sarcasm:

You are right, those will both be great, great fights. I guess I just meant that I was already aware that those fights were gonna happen, so it wasn't a big surprise.

I will say this, even if there's no rematch, I still want to see Mayorga and Vargas together again. I think everytime there's a boxing telecast, HBO/Showtime should a do Vargas-Mayorga interview segment in between the undercard and main event. They wouldn't even need to discuss boxing, they could have them discuss politics, music, religion, whatever. Just throw out a topic and let them debate it on-air. No matter what the topic, they'd be cursing each other's mother in Spanish within about 20 seconds.
