Harrison reveals jail 'nightmare'
British boxer Scott Harrison has described his five weeks in a Spanish prison as "an absolute nightmare".
The WBO featherweight champion was incarcerated after being arrested in Malaga on 6 October for several alleged offences, including assault.
"Prison was ideal in terms of training preparations," the 29-year-old Scot told BBC Radio Five Live's Sportsweek.

he is there for crime what does expect five star treatment ::**
Re: Harrison reveals jail 'nightmare'
A Spanish prison routine seems perfect for Scotty.
Prior to his next bout, he should head to Madrid and slug another cop, just to get locked up. His handlers could arrange with Spanish authorities for a ring, gear, and sparring partners. Set up a prison boxing program for free.
Scotty could do a 6 to 8 week stretch, and get released in tip top shape for future bouts.

Guess he didn't receive the celebrity treatment he might have received would he have landed in a jail in England
Re: Harrison reveals jail 'nightmare'
I really don't like this guy... HOw long has he been champion without defending his belt... He was supposed to fight Guzman, and Marquez, who each would have beaten him and taken the strap, but no... He get's all these stupid allowances by the WBO... He assaults a cop while he is supposed to be away training for a fight... In what sport would an athlete still be able to compete within weeks after assaulting a police officer among other charges.. It's BS, he should have been stripped a long time ago. The guy is overrated as a fighter anyways, he is exciting, but sets a terrible example for the sport.. THe worst thing is he will probably beat Nicky Cook who is just another untested prospect like Michael Hunter was, then get in some drunken brawl, go to jail, and be excused again because he is coping with depression and alchohol... If they were just to strip him of the belt, it would force him to either turn his shit around or go be a drunk bar brawling idiot and not pose as a champion.
