Great is an overused word to describe boxers... Ray Robinson was great !!!
Sometimes when you watch old time fighters it's difficult to imagine their style fitting into modern day boxing but not with Robinson. If ever a fighter had it ALL it's Robinson. The guy was poetry in motion.

He surely was GREAT. Another guy I'm always in awe of is another Sugar Ray... Leonard. Two simplay amazing fighters.
As a kid I idolised Ray Leonard and that led me on to discovering who Ray Robinson was. It would have been a great match up but the original Sugar would win everytime for me.Quote:
