lol in what sport would an athlete who won 4% of his matches/games/ect be considered anything other than rubbish?

I enjoyed the article. I guess if you're one of these guys who has a real day job and does it for some extra $$$ it's great, as long as you're skilled in the art of losing without taking much damage as these lads are.

I've always had a lot of respect for these guys.
It must be hard knowing that every time you get in the ring you're hopelessly overmatched and you're going to get the shit beaten out of you, but they keep going back for more.
It's a hell of a hard way to make a living.

Genuine paid glorified sparring matches.

Without these guys top fighters would never learn their trade in real settings and conditions.
