Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
First of all I would like to say that people who feel JMM "figured" Pacquaio out are totally wrong. First Pacquaio knocks Marquez down three times in a brutal first round. Then Marquez was recovering in the second round. the next three or four rounds Marquez adjusts and Pacquaio can't land anything, nor can he get off because Marquez realizes Pacquaio is just trying to land huge punches. Then in the 7th or 8th Pacquaio starts boxing more and the fight is pretty even but Pacquaio has a slight edge until the end. Personally I have pacquaio winning by a round, but it could easily be a draw because one round he landed thebetter shots but JMM landed more punches.
That being the said the one thing that caused Pacqaio the most problems besides the fact JMM is a great boxer is that Marquez really used slick movement to avoid Pac's assault... It was some of the best footwork I've seen, and reminded me of Hopkins against Trinidad or Tarver, JMM was always on his balance point and he was always quick to retaliate, but now he is much more flat footed which means he will be far easier for Pac to hit, and he has slowed down much more than Pacquaio.
Re: Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
Marquez should of got the win
Re: Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
I think that Realizing and Adjusting are as close as you can get to figuered. He solved pacs early aggression and Pac was put into a boxing mode showing some wicked Lefts. I do think Marquez has fought to face first at times rescently...unnecessarily.He mixed his sharp planted counters and great footwork in the first meet.I dont see either one as tuned up and polished as in there first fight...alot of hard rounds under the bridge each....but I do think Marquez can take Him.
Re: Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
There are two differences first JMM didn't have PAcquaio figured for the whole fight like some people claim, Pacquaio made an changes and JMM lost his advantage he had going. Secondly, Pacquaio is better than he was be a long shot while JMM is worse than he was then. Last but not least Pacquaio is better than JMM, he might not be as good of a boxer, or defensively but his offense is so good he overcomes all his shortcommings and is one of the most special fighters we've seen ina long time.
Re: Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
One thing is for sure, that was jmms best performance and best fight in his whole life. the fight was controversial and ironnically jmm is suppose to be technically better but technically pac should of won that. Yes, if not for the ref scoring the first round wrong. Jmm will need to pull off another best performance of his life just to survive again let alone win. Worst of all, for jmm his facing an even better pacman. Not only did but he piss pacman off by saying pac is not a mexican killer. Ok pac doesn't like to be dubbed that and the race thing is stupid but its not what jmm said its how jmm was saying things that got under pacs skin. Now pac is in the gym focus and in murderous mode. For a long long time no reports of pac bein unfocus and all the bs that comes before his fights. Jmm not only had it bad before, now he made it even worst by pissing pac off. No doubt jmm won't survive this time. The great counter puncher JMM wll get countered by a right hook and down and out he'll be.
Re: Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
I can't see Marquez winning the rematch. He's not got better just older.
PacMan has more experience since the last fight and will win in a more convincing manner. Good match-up.
Re: Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
This is a hard pick, but I will select JMM for winning the fight. He really has great skills and I think that this time he will be more careful of not being hit as he was in the first round (first fight). I think Pacman could surprise him with his speed and power, but JMM survived and made the adjustments. I believe JMM will be better prepared this time, and Pacman already lost the surprise factor of the first fight.
Re: Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
I think the fight was rightfully a draw. I think the rematch could go the same way with but I dont see JMM getting knocked down 3 times so Ill say Marquez will win a close and controversial decision. I think the first fight was not so much that JMM figured out Pac, Pac just couldnt figure out Juan.

How many times in one post will you contradict yourself?....You start out with "People who think JMM figured PAC out are all wrong"..
Then go on to say Jmm adjusted to him in the next 3 or 4 rounds and PAC could not land anything...nor get off punches because JMM kknows he is just trying to land one big shot....
That is called FIGURED OUT!!! He realized Pacquaios strategy then he found a way to nullify it

First off, as I've always said, Marquez won that one. But if you think a guy having been knocked down thrice in the first, make adjustments and can win nearly all round afterwards just like that? - that won't happen and I doubt that ever happened. The secret is that pac injured his feet after his intense exersion on the first. We've seen his badly sored and swollen feet right after the fight there at the ringside (I mean on the tube). Of course you won't take my word for it. I've been always scoffed off for this here but I'm smiling 'cause this will be proven in couple of weeks. Just watch round two, pac stopped fighting and Marquez wasn't even countering. Anyone who knows pac knows that once pac sees blood, he won't stop until his prey is down and out - it's always been like that, no exception. Pac gave Marquez entire second round to recover. Just think about it, a guy who knocked his opponent down thrice in one round can't even land one clean power shot after that? No way, especially if you consider that pac is a pretty fast fighter too. He can't land his shot and just got countered 'cause he couldn't move fast enough. Simple as that.
All right anti-pacs, don't be rattled. This whole issue would be settled soon enough, so let's just wait. I think pac can KO marquez anytime he choses to, even in first couple of rounds. You know in most big fights, pac has a self-designated round to try finishing off his foe. In Morales II, it was round 6. In Morales III, it was Erik trying to finish pac off early so pac had no choice but fight back agressively early regardless of what his plans might have been. On Barrera II, it was round 11 - pac got agressive and stunned Barrera and Marco had to resort to dirty tactics to thwart pac's momentum, and he succeeded. I'm not even worried about pac been outboxed. Pac can outbox Marquez, period. He's got quicker feet to do just that. My only concern is pac getting careless and getting knocked down or out. One of the most under-rated aspect of Marquez' boxing is his power. Believe me he is one of the best p4p punchers today, together with pac, de Leon and few others. I think if pac is careful with those punches, there should be no problems...
Re: Just rewatched Pacquaio-JMM 1
I have watched this fight many of times and just can't give to either fighter in rounds I would say Marquez but score totals I have a draw.If that makes sense. For most of you who disagree and say Marquez didn't figure out Pacquiao.I would just have to disagree.I feel Pacquiao did start to come on late but the last round was Marquez as far as I seen.As for some say Pacquiao is just so overwhelming with his offense and dosen't matter what Marquez does are just nuts. This fight will be a fight of the year.I think Marquez is at his peak and Pacquiao really has slowed down and is not as he once was as a punching dynamo.I would have to say watch Marquez vs Barrera then Pacquiao vs Barrera all excuses aside.Marquez gave a boxing lesson to Barrera and Pacquaio in my book really didn't look good in fact he looked old. It's one of those thing's were Pacquiao lost a little bit and Marquez has gained a little bit.I nod towards Marquez.
I will go with my earlier prediction and say Marquez stops Pac-man in the tenth.

DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL !!!
Throw out the 1st and you have a competitive 7th and 8th. Help us understand how this is not figured out on the behalf of JMM? Especially knowing your foe just rocked you 3 times in one round ! What happened is that Pac was forced to box backwards and experienced a steady diet of body punches for the 1st time. Pac is human and he grimaced from the body shots JMM administered. View the tape buddy. If JMM dictates the pace of the fight, trust me the judges will rule in favor of JMM. Lunging and floundering around the ring with missed home run shots do not equate to positive style points (perception)
Boxing vs Boxing = I'll take JMM
Brawling vs Brawling = I'll take Pac

Cheap socks, mysteriously hurt feet, Jesus Christ you sound so pathetic!!! At least they are related to the feet. You must be A) Pac's personal Jester B) Excuse generator C) Podiatrist D) All of the Above
