Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
Anyone intersted in this freak show event? Im not buying into it guys, the reasons behind these 2 getting it on were a disgrace, both have nowhere to go now either. Bet its pay-per-view as well lol.
-
The only reason this sells out is because it's on the same show as Burns v Mitchell
Otherwise it wouldn't sell out the York hall
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
-
The fact is it would sell at least 30000 tickets and be the biggest fight in the division this year. The biggest fight last year was Haye Klitschko by the way. It shows how bad the division is in really.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
Was there every any doubt ?
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
And its licensed by the Luxembourg Boxing Federation. Now that's a stamp of approval if ever I saw one.
Shame to see Upton Park disgraced by hosting such an event.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
This makes a mockery out of boxing. What Warren has done is piss all over the BBBofC and organised boxing in general.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
Hilarious.
Boxing is a disgraceful business, always has been and always will be.
Personanlly I couldn't care less about it's image though.
I'll certainly be watching.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
won't be seeing it as will be Boxnation no doubt.
Didn't see Floyd v Cotto either - not arsed.
My interest in boxing dwindles further, not good but don't really care any more. As the names I know retire it will get to stage I won't have seen any of the p4p guys fight at all.
Five years ago I wouldn't have missed watching anything :-\

Warren is thinking of the short term gain(money) rather than long term damage it will do to the sport in Britain.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
What will the long term damage be?

Flattened turf at the academy of football. A huge number of fans assuming that all heavyweight fights are this much fun. Acres of press, television and internet coverage that again will unrealistically raise expectations that all fight cards will be this entertaining and competitive. The list goes on.

Yeah this will be HUGE over here... especially amongst the casual fans.
And all the boxing bods complaining about it will be watching too.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
I think they're both cnuts but I'll be watching too. Haye will beat the shit out of him.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
Car crash TV!
I hate the fact this fight has been made, I hate the fact Chisora will make more money from this fight than I will in my lifetime. I hate the fact Haye never actually retired.
But I will be watching,
-
Already got a ticket.
So that's the froch and hate fight I got tickets for

Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
How can Luxembourg have authority over a boxing match in London. It is ridiculous that this can be allowed. Warren needs shooting for organising this match. Both fighters should have to face the BBBC for their actions of what happened in Germany but have deliberately bypassed it but still want the money from boxing fans. They want their cake and to eat it too.

Sadly they are feasting on cake!
I do find it odd though they are allowed to fight in the UK without the blessing of the British boxing bods.

From what I've heard, as the Luxembourg board are a member of the EBU, they can sanction a fight in another country if that country's board is also a member of the EBU. Or something like that.
I'll be watching as I finally relented and got BoxNation last week. It should be fun, this is going to massive over here.

Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
So my stubborn refusal to watch what will be an inevitable hugfest is going to be a futile gesture?

If the British Boxing Council suspends you based on what you did in Germany, just get the Luxembourg Council to sanction your next fight in Britain. Makes sense to me.

Come on Rhun, I'm sure you'll have seen worse at Upton Park this season.
-
Great that this fight is happening, the heavyweight division is Pish
Apart from vitali Vladimir Haye chisorsa who would want to watch any of the others?
Haye knocks out chisorsa
Haye beats vitali
Haye beats Vladimir
Don't like Hayes attitude personally but I think on his day he can beat all of the above
Especially vitali he's there for the taking
Is it true this fight is on the Ricky burns card?

No way the Klit brothers lose to Haye.
-
Haye would leather vitali and that's a fact
He was shite against chisorsa who is mediocre on the British heavyweight scene
Vitali should retire very soon before he gets found out
And nobody out there but Haye can do it
Fick it David price would probably get the better of vitali, he's past it and a know he's gonna get found out very soon
Don't like vitali at all
-

I'm not really convinced Haye even beats Chisora.
I hesitate to respond any further because you're obviously trolling, but did you see the Wlad/Haye "fight"?
-
So, does anyone know if Mitchell vs burns is on the undercard??

If Chisora pulls out, I'm sure Allardyce would be available at short notice.

I guess he still believes haye is the saviour of the heavyweight division, some people...
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
Haye will blow out Chisora faster than he did Audley
-
Haye is looking chunky. I think he is going to be slow and will get caught by Chisora.
Still think Haye to win on points though.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
In football if you're banned by the FA, then you're banned by FIFA. I know that boxing has no world body but surely if you're banned by the BBBofC you should be banned by the EBU, thus preventing this.

absolutely no chance of chisora winning
the only question is is will he last the distance
i personally think theres little chance of that too
id say Haye within 8 at a push

I agree, 8 sounds about right!

Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
I've cancelled my Boxnation subscription; I only took it out for a month to watch Hopkins and Mayweather, and I won't be taking it out for poor WWF matches.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
Haha, come on why would anyone pretend to have a moral objection here. The long term damage it will cause, a WWF event, give me a break! The sport is inherently vile and backwards, this is a good fight that will sell tickets and be hilarious in the build up. I didn't like Hayes effort against Wlad at all, but he probably can still shine in this fight. Thing is, he will need to put in the work as Chisora brings it and is tough as nails. There is almost no way this isn't at least a decent fight, and given its in the HW division why should anything else come first.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
I think Chisora will win!!
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
Cant believe how many people are going with Haye!
Do you remember the Fragomeni fight? He wasnt a puncher and he made Haye back up and work just with pressure. Until he realised he was italian and quit:cool:
Chisora is about the best heavy around at moving his head and he can take a very good shot too. Haye hasnt fought for how long? Chisora is coming of an excellent 12 rounds giving Vitali his hardest fight other than Lewis. However Haye fought the weaker brother and not only couldnt put a dent in him, didnt have the bottle to even try!
Who has Haye actually beaten at heavy that says hes a top heavyweight?
In this fight Haye will be manhandled, he doesnt have the skill to keep a decent heavy off him. Especially one that takes a shot, is hard to hit, has agood work rate and pressures.
-
Re: Haye v Chisora will happen after all.
You seriously think that Vitali is still the better brother at this point in his career Ross? :vd:
