Universum Box-Promotion won today's WBA purse bid in Panama for the middleweight title defense of world champion Felix Sturm against mandatory challenger Sebastian Sylvester. The bout will take take place November 1 at the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. Universum bid $2,815,756 to outdistance Sauerland Events' bid of $1,901,014.

Fightnews has learned that K2 Promotions has won the purse bid for the IBF heavyweight championship bout between title holder Wladimir Klitschko and #1 ranked Alexander Povetkin. K2’s bid of $13,130,130., outshone Sauerland’s of $8,114,140.

Theyre also tallying odd fees,like promotion,managment,and corner fees. It almost never comes to a round figure

I suppose thats why certain promoters work with certain governing bodys, but off course that would never happen :o;D
