Watching Tony Thompson is like watching Audley Harrison with a heart

The similarities are striking, both 6 ft 5, both southpaws, both awkward technically proficient fighters, hell they even lookalike!

Watching him overcome fierce resistance in the second round and comeback to dismantle Krusniqi I just couldn't get Harrison out of my head.

I'm going to start an honourary adoption petition I think and ask if from now on we can have Tony Thompson as our 'alternative Audley'.

Anyone else want to add their support? :P

have to say though it was a terrible stoppage, even worse than Manfredo against Calzaghe :o :P

Was the outcome not in question though?

I thought the stoppage was quick, I was suprised there wasn't any protest from Krasniqi or his camp. I do think Thompson is far more skilled than Harrison.

But was Thompson winning the fight no question at the point he stopped him?
