I remember before his accident thinking that he had absolutely everything. He wasn't even supposed to walk again and now he is back fighting at the the top, but he isn't the same.
Could he have been an ATG if he hadn't have had the accident?

The thing about Frank now is how much his stand up has improved. Had this improvement happened sooner in his career and minus the wreck then I think he would have been at least a push against any of the past UFC HW's. Randy and Arlovski would have been tough fights for Mir. I think he still has plenty of time for ATG status wins over Lesnar/Couture/Carwin/Velasquez/DeSantos/CroCop would put him in a pretty select company. I don't really see that happeneing but you never know.
I like Frank Mir hes a top fighter , but Lesner will not make the same mistake twice , and i think he will stop Frank inside 1 round.
I reckon Mir is a much better fighter than when he first fought Lesnar and will school him. Either way it should be a good fight and a great card for the 100.
Well he is the best out there right now so without the accident we are talking about one of the ATGs
Frank looked superb vs Nogueira. That was the UFC equivalent to Floyd vs Gatti. It was punch perfect and Mir boxed within himself and looked awesome. He showed great variation, timing accuracy and composure so I cant see why he is an underdog going into this one against a man he has already beaten easily.
Brock may be champ but until Mir is beaten I believe he is the best and the true champ . ( In UFC ofcourse ) The best MMA heavyweight is Fedor without question.
