Vitali Klitschko at his prime
Who you say wins and how?
Of course everyone will hate me for it but I say Vitali by KO.
Vitali was hard for LENNOX LEWIS to hit square due to his awkward lean back style. You have to figure Tyson with his short arms, short reach, and affinity for nailing people in the head would have trouble with Vitali's low guard and leaning back to avoid punches.
On offense Vitali is a monster, he has a decent jab, great right cross, and good upper cut. He also KO'd all but one of his opponents
Iron Mike Tyson in his prime would of crumbled Klitschko eventually.Tyson had far too much TNT in each of his big gun.Just look at the way he took out the Awsome SPINKS when tyson was only 20 years old.Their did'nt call him IRON MIKE for nothing!
Well Spinks was a light heavyweight....Vitali has never been knocked down.
Tyson liked to flurry and go to the body some and Vitali's style just doesn't fit for that kind of fight. Certain fighters gave Tyson hell, the tall fighters who can box, take a shot, and have the ability to win on points.
Vitali was a killer
Prime pre-Robin Givens Tyson wrecks Vitali within 5 rounds. Too much speed, too much power, too much ferocity for Vitali to keep in there with.
Not knocking Vitali here, because I think he was a decent fighter.
Tyson would have busted up Vitali and stopped him. Have you forgotten how good Tyson was?
Mike Tyson by KO.
There's nobody like Mike right at the moment. Heavyweight division would be exciting as welter if prime Tyson still exist.
Wlad is a better technical fighter than Vitali but has no chin. Now the most unconditioned Lewis still beat Vitali in his biggest fight. Vitali was slow and robotic and would not be able to handle the speed and punching power of Tyson. Was Vitali better than Tyrell Biggs or Tony Tucker who were undefeated against before they met Tyson? Vitali was no better than the guys Tyson beat at that time.
Vitali wins by decision was my guess.
Can't believe people would say Vitali would beat Tyson. Lewis has legitimate claim but Vitali please the world has gone mad! Vitali lost against Byrd and an unconditioned Lewis! You claim this man could beat a prime Tyson - Madness!
Tyson would win UD imo btw ;)
I don't like Tyson one bit and i think he is very overrated, but he takes the slow robotic Vitali to the cleaner's.
Tyson blows him away. Vitali would last a few rounds but Tyson would be relentless.
Makes me laugh how people overate Klitschko based on him losing to an old, faded and fat Lennox Lewis. Lennox in his prime would have sparked Klitschko out aswell.
Klitschko quit against Chris Byrd that says it all.
I like his exciting style but i dislike him as a person and i don't like most of Tyson's fans either because they severely overrate there man. He had amazing talent once but he threw it away, my favorite Tyson fight is his two fights with Ruddock because for once he actually takes solid punches and has to dig deeper than he ever has before. And also his fight with Tyrell Biggs but one thing i didn't understand about the Biggs fight was that he actually won 1st round by sticking and moving, then he decides to stand toe to toe with Tyson for the rest of the fight ?? and then he gets battered from pillar to post that is a mystery to me why Biggs changed his tactics like that.
Tyrell Biggs was quite good he had good movement for a big Heavyweight, he even rocked Riddick Bowe and gave Bowe some problems as well and Bowe was in his prime. But he had a weak chin and his chin always let him down, similar to Carl Williams who gave an aging Larry Holmes all he could handle. Williams had very good movement like Biggs and Williams had one of the best jabs in Heavyweight history IMO. But just like Biggs he had a weak chin and that always let him down in big fights, he dropped Tommy Morrison numerous times in there wild slugfest, but yet again he lost because his chin let him down. James Tillis also had very good movement but not a strong chin and suspect stamina, but for that one night against Tyson his chin seemed solid and his stamina was pretty good as well. Most of the 80s Heavyweights had talent like Witherspoon, Tucker, Tubbs, Page, etc. But they either ruined themselves or they didn't quite have the chin to beat the elite Heavyweights.
That reason was Tyson. If they could they would have boxed and move, but Tyson would not let them. He cut the ring and with his head movement he got in the inside of fighter and gut them like fish. Actually a beautiful boxer when executing his punches and combinations.
i like Vitali,a much better man than his pussy of a brother... but 80`s Tyson wouldve scared him shytless and beat him up
Vitali by ko
Vitali Klitschko would not know what hit him. 80s Tyson by TKO.
Yep, totally agree 80s Tyson would def. dominate Vlad, nodoubt winner by KO... Mike Tyson
Does not matter he would beat both brothers!
I Think Tyson Would Have Given Any Heavyweight Trouble In His Prime Just A Shame He Didnt Have It In The Head, Wot He Could Of Been If Only He Had Teddy Atlas In His Corner As A Pro.tyson Would Have Eaten V.klitschko Up Like Pac Man
He Would Have Been To Quick For The Bigger Slower Man And
Thrown Punches To The Head And Body With Power In Both Hands It Is Easier To Throw Punches Up Hill So I Dont Think The Hight Factor Should Come Into It As Most Of Tysons Oppenont Were Bigger Than Him I Like To Think The Tyson Upper Cut Might Have Been The Final Blow To Stop Klitschko Tyson Beat Better Fighters Than Klitschko Styles Make Fights And I Think Klitschko Had A Style Tyson Would Have Loved Also Pinklon Thomas Had A Better Jab Than Klitschko
Thats For Sure, And Look Wot Tyson Did To Him.
Ive gone for vitali by KO...possibly through 7/8
guy has never been stopped and has been in the trenches early on, on plenty of occasions.
Tyson would win any contest early on, hell he could of knocked out ali within a round in his prime as his power and presence was just that devestating.
But in vitali you have a clever opponent who would know that to just spend rounds 1-3 avoiding tyson would be pointless.
He would make the fight very scrappy early on, naturally take some big right hands from tyson all the while avoiding any uppercuts. By 4-5 he would be completely in the trenches with mike getting the better of the fight with his ability to paw his jab and by 7-8 tyson would be completely out of steam and i suspect vitali would have him out of there by 10!!
Respect your opinion but a peak Tyson could go at a very high pace as he did with Tucker. Also any pawing with a jab would result in Tyson coming over with a left hook and KO ing him.
Well I'm one of those guys that think Mike is vastly over rated. To me this fight comes down to conditioning and game plan for Vitali. If he comes in top shape and implements the right plan I think he could win a decision or late round ko. Pump the jab, good movement and tie Mike up on the inside. He would lose some early rounds due to Mike's aggresion and pace, but could lean on Mike and tire him out. Mike would become frustrated and Vitali could start busting him up in the late rounds to either win a close decision or put him to sleep in the championship rounds. Lewis fans always claim how out of shape he was for the fight with Klit. Lets be honest the fight went 6 rounds and he had been training. It is not like it was a 12 round barn burner. Lewis was losing that fight when it got stopped on cuts. Maybe he looked so tired b/c he was in against a fighter equal to his size and stength that could push him like no one else had in a long time? The fact that he was losing at the time of stoppage and that he didn't want a rematch says alot to me.
tbh tyson by ko after a few rounds if he countered a few good ones with the peek a boo style
Vitaly would win. He's too big, too balanced, too skilled for Tyson even in his prime.
tyson
vatili would be pickings for tyson, his elongated alien frame would be akward for tyson yes, but once tyson gets in his groove he would ko im in round 5-6. not to may boxers past or presnt could beat a prime tyson IMO!
A few have mentioned Tysons smaller reach and although that would have a bearing i still think he'd KO Klitschko in his prime.
Iron Mike all day. Vitali would be overwelmed and intimidated by the shear quickness and power of TYSON. That legendary uppercut would finish him.
In his prime Tyson was a killer and a very elusive target. There arent many people that could have beat him back then.
Prime Tyson by KO
