why 14? don't you spar with 16s? just curious cuz that's what we use at our gym.
We spar with both 14s and 16s at the gym. Anything that you find lying around really.
Only the big boys really wear the 16s.
Me being a welter thought id go for the smaller of the two
Sounds like a lack of confidence I was a heavyweight always wore 10 oz and loved sparring with feathers use to bash the fuck out of them
Maybe. The last time i boxed a heavyweight though i got whiplash, not fun.

they are these ones expect not 8 oz
don't care what the other lad wears but when I spar I wear 16s... so does every one in our gym. a really nice pair... not big like most 16oz sparring gloves, only slightly bigger than a pair of 10oz competition gloves.
I have 16oz bag gloves too... Sparred a super heavy with either 10s or 12s and I would be lying if I said there was a huge difference in how it feels...
Really makes a difference when you put on 10oz gloves.
