I watched this fight for the first time the other night. Ken was beating the crap out this guy but towards the end of the round(around 4 minutes left) Fujita tied him up in the corner and Ken told his corner to throw in the towel. Anyone know any details on that fight? Did Ken get injured? It doesn't seem like the guy to just quit b/c he was gassed.
Yeah...its crap. He was beating the stuffing out of Fujita, but just gassed himself trying for the guillotine choke. He had his corner throw in the flag because he was too tired to fight. In his defense, it was his first fight back in a while, but still...you shouldnt just quit like that. Fujita was just as tired, plus he had been hurt.
I thought that Shamrock had a injury before the fight that he aggravated during it ???

fyi he had his kids dumped on him 6 weeks b4 that fight and wasnt able to train much so his cardio sufferd. he said he felt a bit tired when he was warming up the heat and humidity didnt help thats right from his mouth theres the answer
