AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
Remember Bruno's ring walk in the Tyson rematch? Never was a fighter so obviously shitting himself as old Frank was on that night. Poor funker looked like a man going to the gallows not a boxing ring.
That's the impression Cornish (21-0/12 KOs) gives going into the AJ fight. 6'7, 18+ stone yet couldn't get rid of Larry Olubamiwo over eight rounds. Looks a mismatch.
AJ KO 1 - 9/4/AJ under 1.5 rounds - 6/5
Brian Minto fights Whyte on a weeks notice. He knows his job is to go a few rounds then quit. So how many rounds will he take Whyte? He got off the floor 100 times against Huck in nine rounds and 50 times against Parker in seven. With the late notice I can't see Minto taking to many clumps before he says - fuck this, lets go home.
Under 5.5 rounds - EVS/10/11
The second Ryan-Hibbert fight - which happened a few months ago on the last 02 card - is arguably the British fight of the year so far. Ryan got off the deck twice (head shot/body shot) before overpowering Hibbert in the 9th round. Even though he suffered two 10-8 rounds he was only a point or two behind when pulling out the victory. He looked the stronger fighter.
Hibbert said he was 70% last time. Ryan said he fought with an injured rib last time. Although neither are big punchers we know they can hurt each other. Why would this time be much different?
Fight not to go the distance - 6/4 (silky/PP) 11/10 (general).

Cornish is undefeated? There is a chance he could win then?
Re: AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
I hope Cornish rises to the occasion and gives Joshua a bout, but I have a horrible feeling he may lose real early.
Minto is far better than anything Dillian has fought yet as a pro. I know he is a late sub and there to do a job, but I think he can take Whyte further than he has been before, and although I suspect people will thus give grief to Whyte, it will do him a favour if it is AJ next.
Ryan/HibbertIII should be fun, Dave seems to have Hibbert's number, and I think he will get the decision, but no doubt it will be a struggle.

Re: AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
It looks pretty full for a prelim; Edwards likes to scream; I think he edged the first couple of rounds, but it is very cagey.
Re: AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
Edwards impressive in the 3rd.
Re: AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
I think Edwards is sweeping fight but Norman is as tough as the old man was, Edwards could be in for a rough ride late.
Re: AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
Norman coming back well. Body shots he was landing could pay off
Re: AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
I have it 6/1 now, Norman is really going to have to hope Edwards blows up.
Re: AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
Edwards clear winner, getting better as it goes on
Re: AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
Edwards has worked at a decent pace and Norman is looking beaten as we enter the final round. Edwards 8/1.
Re: AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
I did not see the need for the showboating so gave the last round for Norman; but Edwards looked good for a pro novice winning 8/2 IMO.
Re: AJ-Cornish/Whyte-Minto/Ryan-Hibbert - London/Sat/SKY. Fact.
The judges have it 10/0 9/1 8/1/1, a bit harsh on Norman, but Edwards did win well.
