Scott Quigg "Super Champion"! Fucking hell, I like Quigg , but this is ridiculous. As for ducking Rigondeaux, obviously you make a very fair point, but Boxing politics being what they are, this will only make it more difficult for Rigo to get one of these 2 in the ring.
Whoever wins could easily avoid Rigo by having a lucrative rematch, it might even be in the contract. And even if they did agree to fight, the winner would see themselves as the "A side" negotiating wise , and Rigo quite rightly won't take less money or come to England or Ireland.
Frustrating as it is, that's the way it is.

Rigo can't seem to get with the program, he's always in trouble for this, that, or the other thing! I don't have anything against Rigo except for the way he fights and I'm not the only one with that opinion. Here's this great boxing talent who should be on easy street. He could be fighting twice a year, hell even three times a year, but instead sets on his fanny because there are no credible opponents to fight. He still has another belt he can roost on. Good luck, you hardheaded little prick! Maybe he is scared now that he got dumped on his ass twice in his last fight. I don't think he even likes boxing, it's just something that got him off the streets and he is very good at.

Both ice him.
That asian boy had him hurt, no chance survives the two punchers

Strange they aren't as confident as you. Then again anyone who watched that fight saw Rigo get complacent and get caught. And after he was hurt he beat the fight out of "that asian boy". Curious, why say it like that? It sounds awful to the ear, why not say his name?
Had to look it up. Hisashi Amagasa surprised the hell out of a lot of people, not just Rigo.

Lol... No chance? Frampton was decked twice by a novice in his last fight, but I guess that's different right? Or the draw Quigg had a year or so back against the Cuban who was KOéd by a nobody in the 5th in his next fight, obviously Rigo wasn't better than that guy?
What happened to Donaire-Quigg anyways? I think Nonito would have had a great chance to win that.

Donaire is fighting for Rigo's vacant belt I think.
Re: Rigondeauex is stripped of his belt
It doesn't really matter if he has a belt from a fans perspective. Everyone knows he's no.1 in the division and the other top fighters aren't gonna face him anyway.
Rigo hasn't been done any favours by some of the "top" boxing journos calling him boring all the time.

There is something fundamentally wrong with this.

Rigo can be boring, the problem is he won't fight if he thinks the opponent is not good enough. The reason we have so many divisions is the sanctioning fees. Here sets hardheaded Rigo roosting on two belts, saying no, no, no they aren't good enough for me. What the hell do you think they are going to do, let him pick and choose?
I can understand everyone's opinion here. Rigo is going to have to face the business side of boxing, it's all about the money. Rigo and some of us might think he's the greatest thing ever, but to the sanctioning orgs he is just another champion that comes and goes and if he is not going to make them some money he can go.
