Re: Am I Missing Something
They're alright.. I guess. They wouldn't all that, if they were in Tyson-Holyfield era.

That's it they are all right, I can see they don't generate much interest.
Re: Am I Missing Something
I think they are better than most people would like to admit
Theyd have lived with the best hws of any era, their style is extremely dull and frustraiting, but very effective
And yes i hope they are beaten or retire soon, we wont have a decent hw division until they do
Re: Am I Missing Something
can't blame them for being better than everyone else.

Not blaming them for being good at what they do effective but dull as dish water.;D
Re: Am I Missing Something
The Klitschkos arent killingthe divison. They are just betterbthan whats around currently. Are we supposed to hope that they retire rather than continue beating people?
Its a lack of promotion and keeping a flow of young fighters coming in. Boxing is a hard sport and the best fighters are only going to come from the poorer countires where it is a relatively easier way to make money and get themselves out of poverty. Unfortunately for the heavyweight division, the poor countries that produce boxers are generally small men. Unless someone goes and scouts somewhere like Nigeria for a big man that can fight (that would probably be bonkers as they are from Nigeria), then things wont change much.
Re: Am I Missing Something
The division would only get worse if the Klitschkos left.
The big headline of this year would likely be Holyfield vs. Povetkin. And I wish that was an exaggeration.
Re: Am I Missing Something
I go with your answers but come on any one get excited watching them fight, I don't I watch as a
boxing fan and that's about it.
Re: Am I Missing Something
there not exciting because everyone they fight sucks, not their fault, if someone can give them a challenge it would be a great fight to watch...remember klitchko lewis?
Re: Am I Missing Something
They are talented, I like watching them fight. The problem is that yeh the division may be weak and you've 'gone through' most but Wlad only adds fuel to already existing scrutiny with a garbage fight like that. It was 100% pointless and more about padding a milestone 50 ko mark. Why validate what is already strong criticism by insulting the fans. I do think the Vitali fight was solid action and needed. When its good its good but you have to keep it on the level.
Re: Am I Missing Something
You may feel I am over critical of them, but I like to be entertained sorry they are not for me.
Re: Am I Missing Something
To be fair, I was in complete awe at the handywork of Vitali when he took care of Adamek.
That style of defense was literally perfect for Adamek.

They earn alot of it...hey the Ibragimov fencing competition that Wlad had made me want to stab my eyes out with a rusty fork.
Re: Am I Missing Something
But no one has said they are exciting, never here any body rave about there fight's that's the
point very dull. Bit like Steve Davies the snooker player good but dull.
