They've managed to duck him quite successfully up to now. I see no reason why that should change unless Rigondeaux signs with Haymon and they can't avoid it but it looks like Haymon is ducking signing a Rigondeaux deal too.
What's stopping the various sanctioning bodies just not rating him anywhere? They're not going to want to make him mandatory when they know their champion doesn't want to fight him. If they force their champ to fight him and they manage to make the fight somehow and Rigo wins then they're back in the same position again, the belt held by a guy that TV companies and other fighters don't want to know, meaning the belt doesn't make any sanctioning fees. So why should they bother with him once they've stripped him?

Both ice him.
That asian boy had him hurt, no chance survives the two punchers
Lol... No chance? Frampton was decked twice by a novice in his last fight, but I guess that's different right? Or the draw Quigg had a year or so back against the Cuban who was KOéd by a nobody in the 5th in his next fight, obviously Rigo wasn't better than that guy?
What happened to Donaire-Quigg anyways? I think Nonito would have had a great chance to win that.
Donaire is fighting for Rigo's vacant belt I think.
There is something fundamentally wrong with this.

Ignore that, its not true lol

Actually reading this, it could well be true.
I like Nonito... but there's something basically wrong with fighting for a belt stripped from the guy who kicked your butt to get it in the first place. Not blaming anyone here. Just stating the irony of it all.

Maybe this will convince Rigo to cooperate. If not, like you, I see Rigo slowly working himself out of a boxing future.

I think he already has. According to his promoter they were negotiating with Haymon but the deal fell through. Unless Haymon agrees to sign him he's with a small promoter who every other player out there can safely ignore -- other promoters, fighters, sanctioning bodies. He's not exciting for TV audiences to watch, he's a miserable little bastard, he's got no large natural constituency of fans and he's capable of beating actual valuable commodity fighters easily and damaging their careers. It's best for everybody concerned in the boxing business just to ignore the guy.
If he doesn't sign with Haymon he's stuck doing off TV fights in Indian casino ballrooms until he can get out of his contract and then maybe he can go to Japan and fight over there full time. I would guess his next fight is a casino ballroom or on the undercard of one of the big year end Japanese bills. He needs to get on the phone to Haymon and just agree to whatever, but probably Haymon isn't really interested in him.

So in other words the guys to good?;D Although true, its sure a sad testimony on the current state of affairs. Well he was just made super champ and gets first crack at the winner of Quigg/Frampton so we will see how that ending pans out
Re: Rigondeauex is stripped of his belt
The WBA made Rigo "champion in recess" so they could elevate Quigg so the IBF would agree to the unification with Frampton. Rigo was basically stripped.
