Re: Wilder vs Fury: Who wins and how?
Did Fury get his double 'win' vote on that pole. Lewis and Holyfield basically calling duel either way scenarios of all things ;D.

Score: Wilder - 22 / Fury - 2 / Joshua - 1.
Seeing all these people picking Wilder makes me want to pick Fury. I'd feel confident about it if he'd had a couple of decent tuneups. Wilder stuggled like hell last time out against a 97 year old who had a bit of boxing ability. If they'd been the same size or close to it Wilder could easily have lost. If Fury is fit and on form Wilder could easily be a mile behind halfway through the fight and can't get into it but I have a feeling he'll do enough to keep it close on the cards. Anything other than a clear Fury win and Wilder will get the decision. That said, fuck it, I'm picking Fury. :)
Re: Wilder vs Fury: Who wins and how?
Bodyshots all the way for Fury to make Wilder quit.

Also a lot of leaning on the lighter Wilder to tire him out.

It better not be a leaning hug fest

It is a tactic that Fury uses well against smaller and lighter fighters.
Re: Wilder vs Fury: Who wins and how?
Isn't that the kind of cheating Wlad used? Now it is a tactic? A great mass of landlocked whale laying on you is now a tactic? My word.
Re: Wilder vs Fury: Who wins and how?
Fury has to turn it into an ugly scuffle. He needs to tie Wilder up, lean on him, maul him and waste time with feints.
He has had no serious ring time in three years, so he needs to buy some time to get back into the groove. Dangerous place to be doing that, and I do think he should have had a couple more fights before shooting for a title.

Wow thats a lot of support for Wilder. Maybe they see something I don't.
im picking Fury and I think he will make it look easy. I struggle to see Deontay landing a punch on Fury. If he does of course he can change everything but if Wvlad couldn't land I don't think he can.
when I was watching Furys come back fights and remember thinking how bad he looked but styles make fights and Deontay with his wide stance and tendency to telegraph every punch is going to be falling for Furys feints and missing wildly from round 1. The fact he weighs just 15 stone won't help him walk down his 18 stone opponent either and I can even see times where Fury abandons the movement and uses superior infighting to rough up the bronze bomber.
If you rewatch the rounds where guys like zspilka, Washington and Ortiz were outboxing Deontay it's hard to imagine him winning rounds vs Fury. Wilders power got him out of trouble in those fights but even the fat washed up arreola was able to absorb wilders punches flush round after round. I'd be surprised if Deontay won this fight or even wins more than 3 rounds and think on Sunday the news will be how easy Fury made it look. It's foolish to write off a man with Deontays power, I just think his power won't play a part
Re: Wilder vs Fury: Who wins and how?
Wilder KO 1. Fury hasn't fought in a long time. I don't think his heart or head is in this fight.
