Watched Karate Kid when I was a kid. Made me feel that I can beat up anybody using the techniques that I saw in that movie and I'm not pertaining to that wax on / wax off thing.

Kung Fu Hustle is hilarious.

I finally got round to seeing the remake of the Karate Kid, and was impressed to see it was a story all about how Jaden Smith's life got filipped turned upside down. You see, he was chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and all shootin some b-ball outside of school, When a couple of guys,Who were up to no good, Startin making trouble in his neighborhood he got in one little fight and his mom got scared She said 'You're going to learn Kung-Fu, from that Maintenance man downstairs'

Watched Fearless staring Jet Li and it was an excellent film. The story is about humility, discipline and pride. All traits that Cotto showed against Margarito. It was not about winning at all cost, as Cotto could not go on after their first fight. He trained hard, perfected his fighting style and executed perfectly to win the rematch convincingly. Then after the victory he did not celebrate but instead savoured the moment and brought back respect to himself and his family.

For pure American Cheese, and I honestly shed a tear when I first watched this movie, I guess it was down to the sheer brilliance of actor Eric Roberts, Best of the Best

Just watched this movie today: Bodyguards and Assassins.

Chinese language with English subtitle but worth it. Excellent movie. The storyline is superb.

It must be painful to be that other guy.

Tony Jaa is another Asian martial artist who can make it big in Hollywood. But I haven't even heard of him until I saw his movie.

I've been watching few almost unknown Thai martial arts films, not that I watch these stuffs anymore but just to please my partner who really enjoys watching 'em, and except for their very cheap looking production and scenes, I was really surprised how good their martial arts were, both the choreography and the artists. They are almost at par with the best. And there's this teenage girl in a movie titled 'Chocolate' who's as good as some of her male counterparts. Check 'em out if you're a serious martial arts film enthusiast.

Definitely goes to Ip Man. It was a damn awesome experience to watch it. Not really digging the sequel though.
