    Default Who next for Floyd?

Assuming the Pac fight still won't happen for another couple fights. Who next?

I think Floyd has picked some great fights recently, active and live fighters. But who next?

    Bradley
    Ginger Ninja (Alvarez)
    Martinez at 154

Floyd should retire now as PAC keeps running. Floyd has no biz with the names above.
Only PAC matters and if PAC isn't interested then floyd retire

PAC is all that matters otherwise floyd should fight bums just to make the haters happy. Khan, Bradley and anyone else should never fight floyd, only PAC vs floyd and then both retire.

I want the pac fight, that will be a great fight. I think floyd should stick to 147 because Cotto looked physically a lot stronger than him.

I have a little feeling he was planning Martinez at 160 to add another legit weight class to his belt collection but after last night, I doubt he goes that high..Khan maybe? I think a few fighters will be licking their lips after last night

Bradley doesn't make sense unless he beats Pac.
Alvarez is not ready. I'm sick of hearing about him facing someone like Floyd. There are steps you take in a career. He hasn't beaten a top 3 guy at 154. He hasn't beaten a top 75 P4P fighter yet. You don't go from facing Rhodes, shot Cintron, shot Mosley, to facing Floyd. How about fighting some near the top at 154.

Martinez is the only fight other than Pac that Floyd should consider.

    Don't see Floyd taking it.

It isn't the size (Cotto's weight not given in ring last night, but Martinez weighed 165 for a recent fight while 154 pounders Canelo and Mosley weighed 167 and 164 respectively).

It is the fact that martinez is the same size as the 154 pounders but is also that damn good.

I take it your a Floyd fan. If you cant see that there avoiding each other you are blind to your fighters failures.

Pacquiao is the first choice if that doesn't happen (e.g. negotiations or PAC retires after this fight as he said he would) then the only option that is worthwhile is Martinez. Aside from those two I have no interest.

You don't have to be a Floyd fan, to appreciate his skills and you must admit he's a great fighter love
or hate him. Looking past all his hype and that's all it is WWE stuff but it put's bums on seats, he's
sells his fights well, he plays the villain well trash talk the money and gangster bit.
People like Floyd make this sport weather you like it or not, he generates interest in the sport and he makes mega money.
Floyd is a show man when he's gone from boxing you will miss him, enjoy his skill a villain yes but
just a pantomime one no more.

Floyd has said he wants to fight for 2 more years, including another fight this year.

That means potentially there are 5 fights that need to be made.

Pac is one, Martinez is another. That still leaves another 3 people to find.

He's going to have to fight a Klitchsko in a minute!

Pac isn't happening. We're just kids running up to the dirt road hoping to see our long lost dog running home on that one. For me, doesn't deserve the anticipation as it once did. Screw em both. I don't see Martinez. I think he fights Khan-Peterson winner or even Berto if he beats Ortiz..yippy.

    Dare anyone say....Cotto 2
