Default 62-0 Press and Fans had Froch ahead at time of KO

Thanks to everybody who provided scores for this fight. For once every boxing fan and press member agreed that Froch was winning the fight , the reason im mentioning this is that some fans recently had Cotto and Hopkins winning their fights vs Mayweather and Dawson.

The blog with all the scores is in the signature as usual

    cheers again

You mean our poster Hulk did not have Bute winning at the time of the stoppage? Amazing.

    HAHA Fuck you

I didn't have Cotto winning either, and I was rooting for Froch in this one.

You would have to have a pretty weird scoring system if you had Bute ahead. Saying that we have all seen some really bad decisions before. If Bute didnt get knocked out you may have seen a bigger variation in the scoring of the first five rounds but when a fighter gets destroyed like that what is the point in bending the scores in another direction.

Did anyone even score a round for Bute? I remember thinking he was winning one round (maybe 3?) up until the last 30 seconds or so when Froch decided to resume the pummelling.

You and Armin thought Bute won the fourth until Froch came on strong at the end of the round, but surprisingly the only person to actually award Bute a round was Miles who gave him the first?:-/

I thought it was a touchy feely round and had it even, but on second viewing give it to Froch on doing a bit more.

It was a one sided fight. Impossible to have Bute doing very much.

Jim Watt gave Bute the 1st round too.

I think Bute was winning the 3rd round until about the 2 minute mark when Froch abandoned trying to box at long range and just bulldozed through him.

You could make a case (a bit of a pointless one though) that Bute won the first. Couple of lefts through the middle landed. Fairly even round. I still had it for Froch though.

If the tko didn't happen and it went 12 then how do you guys think it would have turned out?? I mean bute is an amazing boxer and was on his A game but I think froch is just a very very good accurate boxer with more power and at times more speed

im thinking a wide decision , Bute was cut and Froch was walking through him...maybe a 117-111 score

unless the froch fight was a total off night i think bute would struggle against both
