after Pacquiao's gift against Marquez flip Floyd and Manny and you're good to go, Mayweather in the #1 slot and Pac in #2

fair enough, so you're saying Floyd is the P4P king? After the Marquez fight, i guess he may have some votes for the spot. Manny is still #1 P4P to me

most people had Manny up more due to how they beat the shared opponents, well Manny basically lost badly to Marquez on Saturday, Floyd beat him without breaking a sweat, both did it at WW so no excuses and he did it 2 yrs earlier, add in he won his last fight against KO (albeit somewhat controversially) and then well IMO Mayweather jumps back to #1

I don't know how anyone can have Pac over Mayweather now. He never should have been there in the first place, and wouldn't have been if Floyd hadn't "retired" temporarily.

Its very hard to tell really who's #1 and #2. I placed them now right beside each other at #1. If thats possible, but in my mind they co exist as #1 lb4lb.

The thing is, we cant really use common opponents as the way to measure their rank in lb4lb ratings. If fighter A beats B and B beats C doesnt really mean that A will beat C. The only way to settle this ranking is for the 2 men to fight each other.

If they wont, then people will look into the difficulty of their paths or previous fights. You see in this Pac is way over floyd, having fought several fights with steep competitions, across 8 weight classes -- floyd wasnt able to do that since beating Deigo Corrales.

I don't really rank the win over Victor Ortiz very highly. However, it's a p4p list though and Manny and Floyd share the same weight class and there can't be any doubt who wins that fight now.

    1. Floyd
    2. Manny
    3. Martinez
    4. Marquez
    5. Donaire
    6. Wlad

Donaire needs to beat a top 122 or 126 and he can jump up. Narvaez was a decent win but Narvaez was coming up in weight. Marquez looked fantastic at 147, which was a two weight class jump from his last fight. You have to give him credit for that.

Funny to say about a guy who's in just about everyone's P4P list, but I think Ward continues to be underrated. Should be top 5, IMO.

Ward will creep up in my p4p if he dominates Froch. Ward's best win was over whom? Also, when was the last time Ward stopped anyone?

Last stoppage 2 years. Best fight, I dunno...but he hasn't come close to losing a fight ever. Miranda, Abraham, Kessler, Green...all supposed to be at least something of a test. Probably Kessler the best.

Kessler, in fact, was a 7-4 favorite over Ward, and Ward almost pitched a shutout, losing just 2 rounds out of 10 before it ended. In his very next fight, Kessler went out and beat Froch, and Kessler's only other loss was thhe decision to Calzae that was closer than his fight against Ward. I expect a 1-sided decision over Froch, say 117-111, and I do expect that he'll inch up some lists.

Ward has one marquee win and that is against Kessler. It was his coming out party. He has no other win that is any better than any win Bute or Froch have. In fact, Bute has done better against common opponents. However, the winner of the Froch and Ward fight will be the lineal champion at super middleweight and that says something. The problem with Ward's smothering style is that to many people it is not always fun to watch, much like Bernard Hopkins. Ward needs to work on his power to gain fans. Just look at Bute, he sold out 15000 seats fighting Jesse Brinkley because he knocks people out in dramatic fashion and frequently, albeit with the exception of his last fight, he is a lot of fun to watch. I too expect an ugly one-sided decision against Froch in the neighborhood of 117-111. Ko'ing Froch would say A LOT more than beating him in the same way he beat Kessler. He should aim to leave no questions about his head butts etc.
