    Default Guzman-Valero being worked on?

its from another site, says GBP is working on setting up the fight.

Who knows if it will come off, apparently it would have to be outside the U.S. because of Valero although apparently Golden Boy's working on trying to get Valero licensed here.

Definitely not set yet but I guess it makes sense, except for the licensing problem. Who else is there for Guzman to fight?

Who do we think would win this one? I'm a big Guzman fan, think he's probably too slick for Valero. I know Valero looked pretty good in some sparring videos but for whatever reason he doesn't seem to show the skill in real fights.

great match up,guzman will prob b 2 slick but wit Valero's power he has a chance wit any1..

im not sure about valero yet,i think he's either gonna turn out to be an overrated banger who gets exposed or a pound for pound guy who destroys every1...i dont kno yet which one....

i hope this pulls through. Both guys need eachother, winner goes on to be a bigger name in the division. Loser may have to take a hike.

Would be just another interesting matchup made. Hopefully it will come off, I can't see any reason it wouldn't except for Valero's licensing problem but that could end up being enough by itself for it not to happen.

Well,at 130 and 135,most guys are tied up,so this would be the natural thing for both fighters to do. Guzman is far far far more skilled than the Valero we have seen in fights. He has more experience and has fought the better fighters,so should be the favourite. I,being a big Valero fan, know what he is capable of and with his power,I give him a chance, but nothing more. Guzman on points for me.

I disagree Julius,a loss for Valero and he can keep fighting,it's his first real test and would be a HUUUUUUUGE jump in class. A loss for Joan, well,it could be problematic seeing as no-one really wants to fight him now anyway! He could move up.

I like Valero but Guzman would give Valero a one sided boxing lesson he should avoid Guzman at all cost's.

Great matchup. Guzman must really be intent on attacking the divison! He could have just taken another route to the top, but instead he bites off the hottest chilli he can find!

guzman maybe too slick for valero and guzman was too slick for juarez. but the reason juarez made guzman face look chinese was that guzman is so arrogant he thinks he still has the power to stand there toe to toe. if he does what he did with juarez agaist valero, he will be looking at the ceiling too soon. id take valero if this fight happens.

    Guzman's

Maybe Josef is overestimating the extent too which Guzman's face began to look Chinese-maybe- but he's definitely on to something there.
